wileECoyote
Just saw the Italy release date. Is that new? You'd think there would be a release in Japan and/or China.
John Marston
isn't this a Japanese poster?
terrestrial
isn't this a Japanese poster? pic doesn't workfor me Italy release date: I think it is the same since a time.I am at least sure about knowing it has an even later release date thean we here had (for a German Co-production I was a bit irritated, why Germany / Austria / german speaking part of Switzerland got such an late release date.... terrestrial
So, it is the 3rd weekend out in Germany and Austria: country = rank / week Germany = #1 / #2 / #2 Austria = #1 / #1 / #1 not released in Italy (1st May), probably a release in Japan, as John Marston tried to post a possible movie poster? IndustriousAngel
Japan could add some nice numbers ... "Brothers Grimm" made 9mil US$, "Van Helsing" 24mil - I would expect H&G to fly somewhere down the middle, say 15mil. In Italy, say about 5 or 6 mil - again, hard to beat Van Helsing (9mil)

TLK
MGM/Paramount confirmed that they are developing the sequel.
wileECoyote
So without Japan I think this'll top out at around 165, maybe 170. With Japan 185? Pretty damn good. And the sequel should increase nicely.

wileECoyote
A million of that was from a Venezuela opening.Didn't it open in March 1? That's what imdb has it at but you could be right since there's no BO total showing up on mojo.

IMDB isn't always accurate with its foreign release dates, and the weekend reports mentioned this.

There will probably be some release in Japan eventually, I don't know about China. But it definitely has Italy.

John Marston
with a Japan and China release it could bet to 180m
