Ozymandias
Just bought The Grey last night and watched it for the first time since theaters. Such an amazing movie. I heard about the post credits scene but still refused to watch it. I didn't want risk watering down that epic ending to one of my favorite movies of the year.

Ozymandias
Pathology - I'm normally not a fan of goreporn but I was really enjoying this movie up until the dudes girlfriend(Alyssa Milano) was killed, what a kick in the balls... 7/10Alpha Dog - This movie was painful to watch because the kidnapped kid died because he was shockingly stupid. Oh well, atleast he lost his virginity in a threesome with 2 hot chicks. But it is a crazy true story. 8/10Surrogate - turned it off halfway through. booooring.Deadfall - 7/

Webslinger
Transformers: Dark of the Moon - I half-re-watched it on Netflix while working on an essay about the night I saw it. I still think it's a gigantic mess.Killing Them Softly - It has some cool scenes, and Brad Pitt's political rant is kind of awesome, but most of the movie is just... there. It's not bad, but it's also not as intense or insightful as it wants to be.Life of Pi - A very, very good movie that may well finish in my top 10 for the year. The framing device is a little awkward, but otherwise, it's difficult to pinpoint things the movie doesn't get right. It's also easily the most spiritual movie since The Tree of Life, and has the most effective use of 3D since Avatar. The Dark Knight Rises - Still one of my favorite movies of the year, even when brought down to a significantly smaller screen.Silver Linings Playbook - My favorite comedy in years, romantic or otherwise. It's hard to think of a more vibrant movie this year, and the script, direction, and performances hit all the right notes, even when covering material that would seem merely obligatory in a lesser movie.
