Lets agree to, TA had the better overall legs while THG had better late legs.

If you mean "agree to disagree", then sure, if not:

No, THG had better legs overall and better late legs (although I think we need a definition for "late legs", when exactly do they begin?). But yes, TA did not have average legs.

The Avengers clearly had better legs than Hunger Games. There is no contest. Sure HG had great late legs but so what, even the first Twilight did as well

Other than the first three days, THG has had better legs.

The strong second weekend hold had a lot to do with the sell-outs during the OW. People who couldn't get tickets or were turned away weren't gonna magically not see the movie anymore. The most likely time for them to return would be the second weekend because most people still had work/school, hence the strong 2nd weekend hold.

But it got a worse multiplier after the second weekend...

simply because Avengers had summer days later to help it out. If Hunger Games had been released in the summer no way would it have to same kind of late small drops. Also, Avengers had way more competition than Hunger Games did. Edited by John Marston

Still its a rather silly arguement.TA made a huge amount of money in the first 10 days compared to THG and other films. So frankly what we have seen is this trend.Huge opening weekend and then continue strong for a few more days and then settling down.Huge opening weekend and big falls and then getting good holds latter on.In the end THG and TA both had amazing runs.THG had a gigantic opening and had amazing legs latter on.TA pulled off a historic opening and then made 100 million on the 2nd weekend which was something we thought would not happen for a long long time. The 3rd weekend fall was bad but Memorial day was huge close to 47 million in its 4th weekend.Frankly I bow down to both films and thier awesome runs...

Then that's tough luck.

Avengers had better legs, gross.... you name it.You can't pick a random weekend and then say that okay, this movie had better legs from here on.THG got 2.7x. Avengers got 3x. That's it.
