Bob Violence
Doraemon is the first Japanese movie in 3 years, last movie was a Conan IIRC, and it bombed with 20M yuan. The last one was apparently Ultraman Zero: The Movie in July 2012, about nine months after the Conan film (Quarter of Silence). It performed almost identically, with 20m yuan according to these figures. Another Conan film (The Eleventh Striker) was supposed to be released in September 2012—I think I even saw some marketing for it—but the big anti-Japanese protests broke out in August and it was canceled. Why are the % drops so small? Children's Day. Edited June 2, 2015 by Bob Violence

keysersoze123
considering our expectations hit rock bottom, its not looking bad for san andreas. but its not good either. everything else dropped hard. PK will probably go ahead of Tomorrowland tomorrow. Avengers has another 10 days but next 6 days till JW opens will be the key towards 1.5B march.
