Michael Yun Xia
I'll hold onto that $200m thought. Over-enthusiasm would make a $150m total (which I do believe it will exceed) feel like a disappointment. More often than not, the reported actual in the end will be lower than what's suggested by deducting the online ticket sales number. I'm still thinking a $70m opening week, setting a new record, and then probably a 2.2-2.4 multiplier given its a Tuesday release, for a $150-170m total. Michael Yun Xia
BTW, I did see the tweet from the industry insider in China, and he was accurate on its OD, so certainly hope he's right again. Just like to be a little cautious given past history in the discrepency between what people thought and what's actually reported.

BK007
Fantastic for Titanic. Is the Iron Man 3 announcement for real? If so, need any more reasons of how creatively bankrupt Disney are?I mean, yes, you can't fault people for taking advantage of the massive and growing market, but honestly?Disney have put merchandising ahead of everything else for years now. I wish there were some repercussions for this sham of a studio.
Fullbuster
What's the problem? Many people wait for Iron Man 3, and Marvel needs sequels to Iron Man, Thor and Captain America to make The Avengers 2.
