That's still big, but must HTTYD2 drop big on weekend 2 in EVERY market?!Oh well, still won't question China's tastes. They'll put HTTYD2 over $400M OS, without a good run in China that wouldn't be possible.

400m is still possible, but that looks like the upper range.

 

It will be close to 350m after next Thursday. If it can retain decent number of screenings on Friday, then it can happen.

I still don't get why a family movie has to lose screens in favour of a movie, centering a completely different target group.Why is China not able to have a lot of movies surviving next to each other and why aren't they more flexible, if a movie on a big number of screens flops hard?
