Yeah, positive word of mouth from fans can only go so far. BvS is a great example of fans reacting positively but Wom from general audiences being sour. 

 

Of course it's always good to please the core fans but at the end of the day, they are the ones who are seeing the movie regardless and most likely on opening weekend.

PS down 69% from yesterday, the multi should be higher today though. Anywhere in the -60%s is fine for a 20-22m total. More importantly,  will it hold 12% DoD this week, which will help keep screens, and with the severe drops last week, Thursday could be down just 45-50% WoW.

10PM update at maoyan is 17.25m yuan. It did slow down late. I guess the mid point is earlier this week. Yesterday it finished around 20m.
