I think 300M shouldn't be hard. WoM isn't bad & Lu Han is a male lead alongside Yang Mi.

Crime thriller "The Dead End" just made 304M last August. The actual number should be higher if THRO did not steel its box office.

Next week :

Tue : Everest, Wed : The Maze Runner 2, Fri : Peanuts & The Last Woman Standing.

Thanks!

Suprised that Witness is not frontloaded at all. So Enlight's 300m expectation should be reached.

Nothing is flopping but overall it is the sixth lowest week of 2015 with about 520m. Late October proves traditionally slow box office time.

Wait a minute ... was there a Halloween factor at the Saturday box office ...

I was thinking Halloween played a factor too, considering The Witness is a thriller drama and would fit right in with the holiday. WOM is pretty mixed from what I can see. It should reach 300M if the movies coming out next week underperform and don't take all the showtimes.

Great jump for Ant-Man!!! Only needs 13M yuan on Sunday for $100M which should happen fairly easily.

4 big releases this week taking a lot of showtimes.

AM drops to 11% shows tomorrow, 4% on wed then 1% on Friday.

700m/110m could have happened if it kept 8-10% thru Sunday.

At this point, it doesn't matter what Ant-Man finishes with. It had tremendous run whether it finishes with 105M or 110M. Marvel is just gold in China now.

They're really piling it on, still don't get Tuesday openings but shouldn't be too surprised I guess, better than Monday ones!

What's tracking to be the winner in the royal rumble between Everest, Maze and Peanuts?  Guessing Maze as it is a sequel and it went 3D this time?
