lab276
Again, Megamind didnt great reviews as WIR. Megamind was hated by most internet fanboys, just like Hotel. Yet they both has great legs. And everyone here says WIR is awesome. And now look. Are you sure? I wasn't aware the internet even cared about Megamind (for the record, I liked it a lot).
A Marvel Fanboy
Ralph looks like it will drop 38-40%% and your freakin out. LolThat is neither a great hold for a well reviewed and liked animation imo.And it more likely will drop close to 50% next weekend.

I highly doubt that... It's going to drop just around 40%, at it's worst.

And now that is the point. Dont everyone hate DWA ? Not exact, on the internet it is more like everybody just ignore DWA animations. Yet the ignored Megamind could have better legs than well welcomed WIR, same release date.

A Marvel Fanboy
I highly doubt that... It's going to drop just around 40%, at it's worst.Megamind dropped 45% against DH1 and that it had much better 2nd weekend hold than WIR.http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2010&wknd=47&p=.htmMad 2 dropped 55% against Twilight:http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekend&id=madagascar2.htmA Christmas Carol dropped 45% against New Moon:http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekend&id=christmascarol09.htmBD2 will hurt WIR badly, obviously. #ED
If Ralph drops anything less than 40%, it's still in good condition.

Nah, In ideal case, WIR was supposed to drop around 35~36%. Weak holds all around, soso opening for Skyfall, meh weekend all overall.
baumer
Another kids movie opened that weekend as well so Mad2 had direct competition.

It won't drop more than 45% percent, mark my word. Megamind dropped 36.7% against three movies together didn't have the same money that Bond grossed. Breaking Dawn Part 2 won't open that high as people expect because the 'dream couple' is having issues with infidelity and stuff like that. Breaking Dawn is going to end up under New Moon...Wreck It Ralph is in for a 45% percent drop at it's worst... Just as Megamind surprised against Harry Potter DH 1 with a good hold, so will Wreck It Ralph against Twilight.
fishstick
BD2 is sort of 13 - 25 age group I think.WIR - ?Nope, wider. As far as women go, the age group is wider. But won`t affect WIR.
