RTH overestimated everything so far.Not even low end for BD, Lincoln, Ralph and Life of Pi. Only Red Dawn beat his average. So, like I said, pretty standard. Always revisions downwards. If we're talking about Finke, she was close with her final estimates on most except BD overestimated by $0.7m

Comments like these are why I keep telling Rth not to report so early. He never came back so, of course, some are saying he was "wrong". His earlier numbers are guesstimates, it's the numbers he puts out after 1-2 AM PST that are the accurate ones.

I want him to give us as many reports as possible. 1 ridiculous comment shouldn't have negative consequences for rest of us.

I don't follow his updates or timings closely since I'm not even in the same timezone.I just comment if I happen to see them before estimates are out.So, if you have, then you're right. I was just making a very clear point.Sure, it may be more negative, but then, why are people here so fond of patting ridiculous on the back?No doubt Skyfall has a fighting chance for $300m now, but I'm sure there were locks for $50m+ second weekend and etc. Everyone seems well chuffed to ignore those and act as if backpedalling is something to be proud of.

Rth's numbers are GREAT and they are ESTIMATES if all data isn't yet available. His numbers are often spot on but when he has incomplete data he has to use trends to guess and put these numbers together for US for FREE. He has no reason to even help but he takes time out of his life to provide this forum with numbers, that by the way are always better than other sources posted at the same time. Anyways, Rth, thanks for all you do.
