4815162342
uh criticawards are pretty much over after today? If you really think that then you're mistaken.
fishstick
Jesus Riva fanboys! He rmovie isn`t liked. nevermind that perf is admired, movie isn`t liked by AMPAS members. This is Tilda Swinton all over again. Tons of precursor love but movie wasn`t liked and she was stopped at the door.
riczhang
uh criticawards are pretty much over after today?Have you looked at the Calendar? Just because you don't care about the ones after SAG, GG, and BFCA announce does not mean that they don't exist. Seems like a point that you don't understand for a lot of things. SouthEastern is a fairly big one still to come, Washington DC is coming tomorrow and etc. NSFC as well. There's a lot more coming but no one seems to care because the guilds will be in full swing by then.
RichWS
May I ask WTF crawled up your ass rich and riz? Is it because your precious Les MIs failed on such on epic scale?I'm perfectly fine. You're the one going on and on about Riva can't get a nod, and I'm disagreeing. I'm merely stating my opinion that she's a likely nominee. Like I said, these are PREDICTIONS. Also, "precious Les Mis"? I don't even know what that means.
4815162342
And the fact is that even with guild/Globe nominations critic awards can still influence how those nominations turn into winners.
fishstick
Is this for real? Coutesy of AD Forums: "Jennifer Lawrence Is Perfect" is trending worldwide. Twitter is trying to influence the LA critics

riczhang
May I ask WTF crawled up your ass rich and riz? Is it because your precious Les MIs failed on such on epic scale? That's just Lincoln loving bull crap coming from your mouth. If you've even bothered listening to any other person's sane opinion over the past few months, I've said that if Amour gets in for Actress, and Screenplay I won't be upset if Les Mis looses. (I'll still be upset if Lincoln wins, but that's a different story)

RichWS
He thinks you are a Les Mis fanboy.Oh, I know. I just don't know how I've ever given that impression. I don't take sides during predictions. I call it like I see it. Edited December 9, 2012 by RichWS
fishstick
And the fact is that even with guild/Globe nominations critic awards can still influence how those nominations turn into winners.TSN debacle showed they can`t. Quasi influence happens when there is compatibility between critics and AMPAS or Guilds. But that`s really being on the same weavelength, not one group changing another`s opinion.
