CoolioD1
Year's pretty much over. What was your favourite tv show this year? I can do a top 5:1. Mad Men2. Louie3. Breaking Bad4. Community5. Sherlock
acsc1312
In no order:Breaking badGirlsDexter (I really liked this season)Go On (my surprise new show of the season)More later.maybe homeland I guess since I'm not caught up on mad men. rockNrollaDIM
Hmmm.1. Sons of Anarchy2. Dexter3. The Walking Dead4. Breaking Bad5. HomelandMaybe it's a memory bias because I can't really remember what happened in Mad Men this season. I'm pretty sure it was boring though. Also if you count Season One of Homeland which I marathoned in 2012, then that's definitely #
AniNate
Haven't watched a lot of TV religiously, so was just barely able to eke out a top 51 Game of Thrones2 My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic3 The Daily Show with Jon Stewart4 Mad Men5 Suits (would be higher if it weren't for that shitty season finale)

rockNrollaDIM
Smartest and Dumbest Fucking Show-Homeland :rofl:Nice.Have fun with Sons of Anarchy. Are you waiting until the entire series is over do you just mean this season? Unfortunately that's another uneven series, when it's good it can be great but there have been a couple of bad seasons. And the plot gets convoluted, confusing for the sake of being confusing. This season was ace though.
DAR
I'll probably wait until the whole thing is over.

AniNate
I'm a little shocked by the relative lack of GoT in this thread. I thought that was like every 20something male's favorite cable show.

Still liked it (blackwater episode was awesome) but there's just better stuff out there. Edited December 18, 2012 by CoolioD1
4815162342
I agree Season 2 wasn't as good as the first time around. I think the showrunners made some narrative choices that diverged from the books, which in themselves was fine, but the execution of those divergences (aside from Ayra-Tywin becoming Dialogue Masters in the mid-season) was mostly iffy. But compared to Homeland Season 2's faceplant GoT Season 2 was great. Michael Gary Scott
Best comeback is a tie between the office and dexter which both greatly improved their seasons. Thank you Greg Daniels for coming back to the Office to give it a worthy final season. Now I only hope he can persuade Carell to come back for the finale. cozmeesah
I'm not sure I can do a Top 5. I only watched every episode in the season for a few shows, so those all have to be my top 5. Not really in any order except for #1.1. Game of Thrones2. NCIS3. Once Upon A Time4. Bar Rescue5. The NewsroomNever got around to watching any of Walking Dead, Mad Men, Homeland, Breaking Bad or Sons of Anarchy. It's hard for me to get motivated enough to care about a lot of series. cozmeesah
Hey, I liked Newsroom. Sure, not the greatest show ever, but I enjoyed it. Still, I'm sure it wouldn't be in the Top 5 if I'd watched a couple more series.
