peludo
WOW! I didn't know Frozen was so close to beat DOS!!! And at this pace it will for sure do more than €1m!! Yes. Frozen will probably beat DOS in both gross and admissions. Edit: I just hope TH3 can increase relative to DOS. Quigley
These are not the real data. BOM just convert the amount in dollars with current exchange rate. According Ministry of Culture: Desolation of Smaug: 16,278,748 € (2,358,178 admissions) Frozen: 15,274,459 € (2,499,135 admissions) Those amounts does not include the new re-release of Frozen, but, for the moment, it has not grossed 1 million € in this new run. Smaug should still be number 1. At what website can you find this data?
peludo
At what website can you find this data? Ministry of Culture. It is in Spanish and it is a database where it is registered every film released in Spain. These are official data. http://www.mecd.gob.es/bbddpeliculas/cargarFiltro.do?layout=bbddpeliculas&cache=init&language=es If you put in the "Titulo" combo the title of a film, you get the info of that film. For example, these are the links to Frozen and DoS: Frozen http://www.mecd.gob.es/bbddpeliculas/buscarDetallePeliculas.do?brscgi_DOCN=000046810&brscgi_BCSID=75078cff&language=es&prev_layout=bbddpeliculasResultados&layout=bbddpeliculasDetalle Desolation of Smaug http://www.mecd.gob.es/bbddpeliculas/buscarDetallePeliculas.do?brscgi_DOCN=000046862&brscgi_BCSID=50bb8b8e&language=es&prev_layout=bbddpeliculasResultados&layout=bbddpeliculasDetalle The site is updated each x days, weeks or months. It is variable . Data about gross and admissions of films released recently are not exact. For example, 8 apellidos vascos is at 50 million € and 8.6 million admissions when we know that it has already reached 57-58 million € and it is well over 9 million admissions. But it is the most accurate free place to know this kind of information. Edit: You can type the title of the film in the original language of the film to search it.
