James
Weekend Top 5 (estimates): 1- The Hobbit BOFA, €2.8m ($3.4m) 2- Big Hero 6, €1.7m ($2.1m) 3- Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au Bon Dieu?, €1.2m ($1.5m) 4- Night at the Museum 3, €1m ($1.2m) 5- Unbroken, €1m ($1.2m) Last year DOS did $2.6m the weekend after Christmas and Frozen $2m. That is great for TH! What can it end up with?
Hernan Gonzalez
That is great for TH! What can it end up with? According to the numbers screendaily.com published yesterday BOFA stands at $13.3m as of yesterday. Next weekend should be also good because the holidays end on the 7th here, so Bilbo and friends will have 9 more very happy days. And Spain is a leggy market. $20m is a lock but I am hoping for $25m
picores
Great! An increase over DOS is locked, lets see how close to AUJ can it finish...like Henry said, 25m is a good benchmark. That makes it the biggest hollywood film of the year in Spain by a wide margin.

Hernan Gonzalez
What about Big Hero 6? What seems to be its target total gross? It should be close to $8m this Sunday, so I think it could end its run doing around $13m-$15m

Hernan Gonzalez
Seventh Son opened in 5th doing $1.3m so we are having 5 movies over €1m again!! Last year DoS did $1.27m and it was on Top!!! Good way to start the year!! Yesterday Screendaily said that 7th Son did $1.3m in Spain but rentrak on today´s estimates says it did $0.85m I think the number on Screendaily had Thursday included... Top 5 Estimates (according to Rentrak): 1- The Hobbit BotFA, $1.8m 2- Big Hero 6, $1.7m 3- Bon Dieu, $1.1m 4- Night at the Museum 3, $0.85m 5- Seventh Son, $0.85m Anyway, on the same weekend last year DoS did $1.27m and Frozen $1.2m, so this weekend's numbers are still pretty good Yesterday Big Hero 6 had beaten BotFA for the first time claiming the hot spot!!
