fishstick
Guys, Serkis wasn`t snubbed. He wasn`t considered anything but a SFX. Snub means that someone had a legit shot at a nomination but it didn`t pan out. He never had any shot in acting category because his Guild, SAG, does not consider mo`cap an acting. Simple. fishstick
Michael Sheen- Tron That would be a Razzie snub. Damned United would be an Oscar snub and very big one at that.

Jake Gittes
What about The Ghost Writer? He was great in that too. And Trainspotting! And Shallow Grave. And Beginners. Even Bay's The Island. Hell, the fact that he managed to give a fine, immensely likable and alive performance in the Star Wars Prequels says everything about what a reliable actor he is.
