Why do you deem women as lesser beings than men?

I wouldn't do that. That would make me sexist. I never did that.

I just pity them for having a much harder lot in life than me, a smart man. It's not that they don't b*tch about it all the time themselves, if you haven't noticed?

A number of Dreamworks movies are really good-some better than Brave- so nothing about the description really makes sense.

I'd describe it as Pixar-like in terms of world building, visuals and music, and Disney-like in terms of plot and character development.

Brave is amazing<3

Are you kidding? He's very sexist. His not so subtle sexist remarks coupled with his constant jabs at character-driven films that don't have enough action is annoying.

What has he said that is sexist? I have him blocked here so I couldn't tell.

What I find, is that he makes the same copy & paste comments about blockbusters, the only time he ever shows up, and adds no insight whatsoever, so I grew tired of having it appear. Plus, I know for a fact he doesn't seem to care or pay for anything else that isn't a blockbuster, which are the type of people who annoy me and finally has a hilarious generic list of "best" movies that he cannot justify properly, in other words, hasn't a real opinion of his own which is very see-through and not worthy of consideration, as awful as that sounds.

His posts about The Hunger Games really annoy me... he talks about the audience for it as if they were all helpless, fragile women who couldn't help themselves because in his mind, THG is a girl's movie.

He pretty much said that movies that appealed to the whole family were crap too

will likely end with 230 million DOM, which I know some of you find underwhelming but for me that's a good result :) Although I wish it performed better overseas

per se it is still an A-list animated movie DOM but pixar is starting to lose the international audiences (look Japan)

it is 20% down on the last original pixar (Up)

it is just one of many (Despicaple Me, Brave, HttyD, Kungfu Panda)

pixar has lost the status of unquestioned No 1

BTW: I was really looking forward to it; I hoped it to be a fairy-tale for a more adult audience

the undisputed reign of pixar(critical+BO-wise) had to end at some point. It started with cars-2(unnecessary sequel to the only soul-less pixar film to date).

pixar has recovered a bit with not-so-creative brave , but i'm disappointed with its moderate OS haul.

I must say i'm reaally excited for MU. the teaser was absolutely hilarious and is getting good reactions at the cinemas.

It has $300mn potential . If made well , MU can even beat FN unadjusted.

MonstersInc. is my favourite Pixar - looking forward to a prequel

I think Pixar is working their way up one step at a time. They hit a low with Cars 2 so now they have to rise again. Brave was an improvement both criticaly and b.o. wise over Cars. Monsters University could easily be another step forward.

235m is more than i thought it would do (i was in the 225m level) and i think it was in line with most people's expectations. OS isn't doing good that's for sure but it still makes some decent numbers in the Wall-E and How to Train Your Dragon levels.

It will probably have an Oscar nomination also, so everything is going fine if you ask me.

Cars2 has the lowest adjusted DOM of a Pixar

Brave the second lowest

a long way to go - about 25% below the average $315m
