Donald
The ratings were down mainly due to mothers day.....and the previous episode was kinda slow...from....7.2 to 6.3......mothers def!
Boxx93
The ratings where down at the same point last year where in episode 6 to 7 dropped from 5.6 million viewers to 4.8 million viewers. Definitly mothers day effect, but don´t worry, the Tyrion trial will generate enough hype to go back up in ratings next week. I still have hope for an 8 million viewers record for the season finale. It might break 9 after the battle of the wall with Stannis, the Mountain vs the Viper, Only Cat, the audience will clamoring for more and the finale will give it to them LS and say whore again
Cmasterclay
Dinklage was obviously incredible and chilling, but the man has stiff fucking competition this year. Paul in his final season, Harrelson (though I could easily see Woody going lead), Dean Norris is finally due to get at least a nomination, Jon Voight, Patinkin was Homeland's biggest redeemer, Wright, Slattery, etc. It isn't lead actor, but it's alot. Spidey Freak
why so modest! ALL the awards! ugh I didnt watch Breaking Bad but Im sure that 'Need for Speed' guy will win Ugh, I really hope he breaks out and becomes Hollywood leading man material in some heavyweight drama and sci-fi. He is such a trailblazing inspiration. Plz Cameron, throw out Woodenthington and cast The Dink as the lead in Avatar 2 and 3!

Sadly, Worthington's blandness and lack of personality is why he'd be a better choice for the Avatar flicks. There's nothing there to keep audience members from projecting themselves onto his character as their own sort of avatar.

There's nothing there to keep audience members from projecting themselves onto his character as their own sort of avatar. Lol true but when you look at the other two biggest films: Titanic and The Avengers, the leads in those were bursting with charisma, so I really think Avatar was so huge despite of Worthlessness, not because of him. I also think Peter being a little person and proving to be the "biggest person" hailing from Earth in these films could be far more affecting. He could bring the gravitas and human connection that was sorely lacking in the original film, except for bits and pieces from Sigourney Weaver's limited screen time. Plz Cameron, throw out Woodenthington and cast The Dink as the lead in Avatar 2 and 3! not a fan of either Avatar or Titanic really but more Peter in blockbusters will be awesome even just b/c he will get loads of money that he deserves much more than Hollywood conventionally attractive leading men (lol well he's muuch more attrractive to me than Clooney or DiCaprio for example ) Tho tv actors really doesnt have much time to film blockbusters sadly & here come parodies! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvHK6blDJaQ this scene is already a phenomenon after just 2 days PPl at DOPF premiere want a trial by combat too ))) & someone demand a trial by something else ))) Edited May 14, 2014 by Tauriel

Jawa
New prediction from a non-book reader: I think the overall storyline for season 4 is how the Lannisters slowly fall from power. The very first scene of the season was Tywin melting down Ned Stark's sword with the Rains of Castamere playing. Their enemy is defeated. It's the highpoint of the Lannister rule. Since then, we've seen Joffrey die, Tyrion imprisoned, an even worse division between Tyrion and Tywin/Cersei, the breakdown of Jaime and Cersei's relationship, and learned that the Tyrells are plotting against them. To make it worse, we also learned that the Lannisters were not responsible for Jon Arryn's poisoning, meaning that, while not innocent, they aren't the villains they were originally made out be. They've also created a shaky alliance with Oberyn Martell, which is almost certain to involve him killing the Mountain, their strongest knight. I think that by the end of the season, the worst possible thing will have happened to the Lannisters: Tywin will be dead. I don't know how, but it will be the culmination of their decline. Tommen is also going to die sooner or later, unfortunately. I don't think that'll happen this season though.
