Michael Gary Scott
Arya has really grown on me, she used to be an annoying brat, but now she is interesting to watch. Arya has always been my fav character
4815162342
Arya has the most chapters in the third book so you can expect a good amount of screentime for her in Season 3.

Cedarpoint1111
This will 100% reach series highs for the premiere episode. This will top true blood ratings.
Ball Lightning
So many friends are looking forward to season 3! This should easily top any previous ratings for it! 5m for the prime spot?
4815162342
Thats great news Yeah Arya's adventures in the third book are very excellent. The third book has three brilliant swordfight scenes and one of them is in Ayra's storyline in Season 3. We'll see another fairly early on in the third season but the final one we won't see until likely late in the 4th season and that one is one of the best-written scenes in the novel series period. Cedarpoint1111
So many friends are looking forward to season 3! This should easily top any previous ratings for it! 5m for the prime spot? The season 2 finale was watched by 4.2m people.I think season 3 premiere should hit about 4.9-5.1m viewers. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/06/04/game-of-thrones-sets-series-high-for-viewers-in-2nd-season-finale/136778/True blood series high is 5.5m viewers. I think at least 1 episode this season of game of thrones will top it. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/08/23/sunday-cable-true-blood-kardashians-entourage-lead-breaking-bad-glee-project-much-more/101035/These are all viewers for the first telecast. These numbers don't even include encores or dvr viewings. Edited February 24, 2013 by CEDAR
cozmeesah
Well, the problem is that the Walking Dead season finale is on at the exact same time as this season premiere. So the initial viewing ratings will be down. BUT the repeat, HBOGo & On Demand will be higher than usual.
Cedarpoint1111
The walking dead finale and game of thrones premiere are at the same time? ... Are you kidding... That's so fucking annoying.

cozmeesah
Yep. But the best GoT stuff won't be in episode 1 anyway.
Cedarpoint1111
Why they invented dvrsI know but the ratings for both will be smaller now.
cozmeesah
It will only matter for Walking Dead. HBO & other premiums have their ratings reported as the full week over all formats & airings. They use total viewers, not just initial airing. AMC, on the other hand, doesn't.For instance, GoT S2's ratings are reported as 10.3 mill viewers per episode. But the most that ever watched the first airing was 4.2mil for the season finale. So normally only around 1/3-1/2 of the show's viewers watch the original 9pm Sunday show.
