rockNrollaDIM
Official estimate for Happy Feet 2 is 5.9.What the hell happened here? That is disastrous. Then again, it seems like it was barely promoted. Who knows, maybe it will pull a PIB and stay flat next weekend- though even at that rate it will still have trouble going much further than $100m.Twilight series is simply amazing. Incredibly consistent. Nobody thought it could reach the heights of New Moon and bam $73m OD. Wow. Wonder how big the drop will be today.
druv10
Boxoffice.com is saying that it fell just short of New Moon's 72.7M. It did 72M.

ravon80
Official estimate for Happy Feet 2 is 5.9.Wow, even with the strong Saturday increase family movies usually get it will labour just to get above 20m OW. Needs to stay flat next weekend for any hope in hell at 100m. Needless to say, an absolute bomb. Unbelievable. If the derby still existed HF2 would have absolutely killed it for me. I thought 30m OW was in the bag. Edited November 19, 2011 by ravon80

lab276
They were probably more hoping for a Tangled-like run, since that's more comparable.
Noctis
Interesting to see actuals. I'll be surprised if Summit doesn't get it over NM. If it can't, then that means its OD is probably in the vicinity of $71m.
