Yeah, I don't really care about any Marvel stuff - except this (because it's Asian and martial arts), Dr. Strange (because it is shaman fantasy), and Thor (if it is Taika). Hmm - that's actually a lot; that means they dropped most of their dumber stuff when Avengers ended for good - and kept only the cooler projects. It seems Feige maybe listened to the Shay.

Exactly!! It was high time Pixar finally learned from their betters. Disney and Dreamworks animations almost always rock. NOT the case with Pixar...

Finally!! A good, fun animated movie - by none other than Pixar!! 😕 I've been waiting for, like, ages... They make only one or two movies a decade that are above their average.

OMG @ the Knives Out talk in this thread... No one even saw that movie, especially in Shayland (Bulgaria) where it didn't even get a release - so any thought it may influence anything is... I can't even find a strong enough word here, which is a rarity for the Shay. But hearing you talk about genre bending and SUBVERTING (shudder) immediately makes me think about one thing: did RJ try to f*ck up another brand here? He was extremely successful in destroying Star Wars, as can be seen by last BO numbers. I wasn't even going to torrent-see his movie - but now I might have to, in order to attack it better.

Marvel is doomed (to mediocrity) from now on - with or without Feige. But without him - yeah, they'd be even worse, lol.

Oh, wait - just fucking wait... Kosinski directing this??!! Oblivion is one of my favourite movies ever, seen it 12 times in cinemas... No way now Top Gun 2 doesn't look good.

This is a fucking teaser - trailer has to be 20 times better. Still, Cruise has my trust, and Connelly is the finest MILF walking this Earth right now. But they better amp up the visuals, or it will be a great waste.

Hahahaha - the Frenchie could only be the EMBARRASSMENT of the decade, or the BLIND BAT of the decade, considering how impenetrably dark all his films are. They also always disappoint or outright bomb. Just wait for poor Dune...

Yeah, don't be insulted, I just like my reviews to have some style - that is why I use evocative words. And I am well aware how unexpectedly strong the word "average" (of all words) can be, when used right. Unfortunately, the 2 Jumanji movies (I don't understand why people try to add the older movies here, they don't match at all) are exactly that: perfectly half-assed. Yeah, many parts are good, the actors are great - and so on - and I've seen (repeatedly) many worse movies. However, if one part of the whole script is good, and the other bad - like in these movies, which are too basic for me - the whole ends up bad, or at best: yes, average. Also, the visuals are extremely mediocre - and that is a big NO for the Shay. I also hate videogames* and think that game culture should stay in the nerd corner, not try for the mainstream. * Except the old arcade games from the 90ies - actually I just bought a real arcade machine with 2000 games!

This is one of the most AGGRESSIVELY AVERAGE movies that I have seen. The other one being the previous Jumanji. I can't enjoy such movie fully, nor could I endure it again. I easily rewatch even dumber movies, but they at least have good visuals - while the visuals of Jumanji are also extremely average. Bad director, I guess. Fortunately for Jumanji though, a great part of the public is also VERY average, by definition, so these movies' success is by no means surprise for the Shay.

THE FLASH - BOO! lame ass superheroes; they keep getting movies - even the most boring ones, like the Flash THE UNTITLED MATRIX FILM - WTF MORTAL KOMBAT - BOO!! stop making videogame movies - they will always, inescapably fail; and this here is the WORST game EVER!! THE UNTITLED FRED HAMPTON PROJECT - I don't even know who that homie is AKIRA - great; ONE good movie on their list - and they remove it... f*ck WB

And it's also a brilliant movie, on top of that, which I watched 10 times in cinemas back in Dublin. No other animation deserved a sequel more than that! Yet - this is the one that gets fucked, while other garbage (Pixar, etc.) flood cinemas. I guess it's just the proverbial bad luck of the Shay... PS: The other answer is - it is a DW movie. DW had lots of troubles in the recent decade (fuck Pixar for that, again!).

LOL, the same old dude. OR - maybe you should learn that if a man has different opinion than yours, it does NOT, actually, make him a troll? Yeah, I get that if he is obviously smarter and bolder and funnier than you - you can feel trolled by that. But that is still a feeling you should wrestle to overcome.

One of the first things a wise man learns by himself is - he should never ever lie. And since you obviously haven't gotten to this point yet - take it from me: you should not lie. You can't win a single thing through lying - only lose. You can't win everything by telling the truth - but you win quite a lot. So I always tell the truth. True - telling the truth is often considered trolling. But this is not my problem, is it.

Is this worth torrenting? I never watched TV in my life - but if this is 10% as good visually as the cinema Star Wars, I might give it a try. For 10 minutes. But it's not. TV always sucks. It looked shabby in the trailer - but I appreciate Taika, and if this is indeed his movie, the humour might be worth it.

18 months? Yeah, I never had an employer. Never liked the idea of working for someone else. I've had much longer leisure periods. But the Dublin vacation is notorious, because I went there solely to binge-watch CINEMA movies, in their multiplex (average of twice a day for the whole period!) - effectively becoming the first Cinema Tourist in the World! Just the Shay making history...

This movie should have been made so long ago: 1. when the character was still alive, and 2. when the other female lead MCU movie, with a much more unpleasant lead character (Captain Marvel), didn't exist even as a concept in Marvel's greedy heads yet. Now BW will inevitably be perceived as an afterthought. But if they create a miracle and make a mini - Winter Soldier out of this (highly unlikely) - then OK.

Underestimate it at your own peril!!
