    Mexico might be added to the long list of territories where AOU fall behind FF7.. it look like FF7 will outgross AOU in all markets except domestic, SK, UK and some smaller countries... imo, FF7 will take the OS crown this year.

    SM1 was the first major superhero movie and it had all the hype due to being the first. Despite that, SM2's drop was very small and it is the best superhero movie till date for many of us. Meanwhile AOU is a big downgrade in quality from Avengers.

    Minions are not side characters. If there are no minions, then there is no Despicable me. If the trailer reactions are any kind of indications, Minions will open atleast 30% above inside out.

    By the end of first week, AOU will be trailing FF7 in Argentina, Germany, India and Australia. If WOM is not that great more countries will join the party. AOU vs FF7 is getting more interesting now.

    FF7 will win many key OS markets such as China, India, Middle east, Argentina etc... It will be a close fight for the No.1 OS hit this year.

    Star wars is not a A+ property outside US. If the first movie is good, then it will help the second one in a big way. As of now, it is not a match for Avengers, Bond or Fast and furious movies abroad..

    But star wars will make only 70% of its total this year. December movies are not known for the opening weekends.

    Saw the new trailer at the cindrella screening. This one is a real trailer which give an idea of the story line. Criminal con ..lol They have introduced the characters in it Sandra Bullock's villan character is a likeable one. This trailer was much better than the inside out trailer.

    imo, cinemark is better than Regal. Most of the cinemarks i have visited had very good seats. their Xd is poor man's imax at a reasonable rate.

    China and India makes half of the world population i think. Even if 10% of them tuned in, it can dwarf any other ratings. Soccer is very popular in china and parts of India. Extremely popular in East Asia and Middle east.

    all of those games are made in tune to the TV broadcasters with infinite time outs and other breaks for them to fill in with their boring Ads. Soccer is a non stop game (in 2 halves), so the scope of that revenue is pretty less. That is why the broadcasters are not promoting that sport of league here.

    If it is true,It is a different treatment. Not like a 4th version of same story. Something which has a great scope for some goose bump action sequences with a right director.

    Best thing about this year is that the number of high profile sequels are very less. Instead, we are getting lot of good movies with original storylines. This might not be a great year for studios due to the lack of billion dollar movies (with the exception of transformers or some Frozen like surprises), but for a normal movie goer, there are lot to cheer about. Anyways life will be back to normal from next year with raining sequels and reboots.
