"our". There are other people involved in the site besides you? Serious question. When I think of Boxoffice.com I think of Zach Galifianakis. Automatically.
* No Pixar entry. When was the last time that happened in a year where they had a movie?
* Frozen is the recent commercial favorite but Wind Rises is Miyazaki's last. Sorry DM2 and Frozen.

Historically (Argo, Lincoln) expansions don't result in stratospheric PTA which is what would need to happen for a $12-14m weekend from only 900 theaters. I think both Gravity and Phillips will do the same amount of business they had when they were around 900 theaters before. We shall soon see!

I am hesitant to label Lone Survivor the best war movie since Saving Private Ryan but it does have all the ingredients, likable characters who you don't want to see die, attention grabbing action, tension, sad moments, redeeming moments. It really surprised me how good it was.
This period of time marked the beginning of Scarlett Johanssen's career (Lost in Translation) and the beginning of the end for Renee Zellweger's (Cold Mountain)
A+
Pitch perfect performances and direction kept me in the story. The locations, cinematography and even music shine in the fabric of this film. Spike Jonze is a master story weaver at the top of his game. Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson are utterly credible as are all the other leads.
