Sony would be dumb not to jump on this, but those salaries are pretty high. If they're planning on filming this fall, then I expect 2016 release date announced soon; they could really take advantage of christmas 2016. Right now there is only an animated flick, risky musical and assassins' creed scheduled. Of course the stars wars standalone is coming out the weekend before but I don't expect that to be really huge.

He can pretty much pick whatever script he wants and it will get greenlite. Personally im most interested in Passengers and The Real Mccoy of the films he has pre-production.

Dont count out Star Wars.

These numbers are amazing. What a year for Universal,completely stealing Disney's thunder. Waiting for Star Wars opening weekend numbers is going to be nail-biter.

Hilary is a young woman, so she has it tougher getting good roles. But she also isnt a very good actress so that makes a huge difference. Her shelf-life wasnt long.

Shia had a chance to become a bigger star but his personal life took over. I dont think any studio is going to take a chance on him at this point unless he does some major image repair.

I think they may move Mag 7 to June 2016 and either take Uncharted of the schedule completely or push it back to 2017.

I think Sony is going to switch Mag 7 and Uncharted. There is no way Uncharted is making that June 10, 2016 release date, seeing as how there is no lead yet, meanwhile Mag 7 is already filming.

No if Passengers is a success that will clearly be because of the combined star power of Lawrence and Pratt and if the concept is good.

Chris Pratt needs another signature role besides Guardians before ill consider him superstar level. Jurassic World was going to be big with or without him. Will Smith's and Tom Cruise's of the world have several original blockbusters to their name. Periods where everything they did turned to gold. Action, sci-fi even fucking Romantic Comedies. People are trying to push movie stars instead of letting it build naturally these days. Perfect example Chris Hemsworth. This may be just a case of Pratt making better decisions than Hemsworth at this point.

I Don't think it has the same cultural impact. More about the cast of characters rather than the aliens. Will Smith was the main draw, he's been replaced by Liams Hemsworth, nuff said. They will have to depend heavily on the aliens this go round, which is actually a smart decision. The alien nation remained mysterious for the most part in the original film.

Yeah i think it did. To be honest, i havent seen remarkable marketing for Inside Out, so these 80m predictions are crazy. (IMO)

This is more about the dinos though. Pratt for sure going to get his pick of whatever he wants to do now, but it has to be the right project in order to be financially successful.

It's not gonna happen. July-no August-hell no September-maybe Maze Runner,or Black Mass October-no November-Hunger Games (this isnt a lock) December-Star Wars -7 out of 12 months at best.

Sony has Perfect Guy on that date, trying to replicate No Good Deed numbers. I'd bet money that something will move there though, if i had to guess probably Black Mass.

I dont think so. It's in the right month. September would have been more ideal though but thats already crowded.
