    i think JW is gonna do well over july 4th weekend. Terminator is gonna be Fourth for the weekend, i have a gut feeling. number one- between IO and JW MMXL-2nd or 3rd

    Fandango reports are really not helpful. They reported that Ted 2 was outselling the predecessor.

    Most of the October films are for adult film-goers. Pan caters to a younger family-type audience, so it's not going to be completely killed. I think it can open to respectable numbers and get to atleast 60m. I still dont like this release date, should have opened in December.

    Really? Their summer is way stronger next year. Angry BIrds could do 130M+ Ghostbusters could do 150m+ Sausage Party could do 130m+ Horror films are wild cards. If they move Magnificent 7 to June, replacing Uncharted that could be another 150m+ especially with the 'king of summer' As he's been dubbed, Chris Pratt.

    This franchise is going nowhere. Lionsgate will kill it if they keep those release dates for Allegiant 1 & 2 in place.

    Ted 2 is going to do 60m+, SPY and Entourage haven't taken enough demand away, and the market is open for R-rated comedy. Families are having a ball, its time for the adults to come out and play.

    I dont think BDH character was weak though. She suprisingly had the most depth out of all the characters.

    I wonder if Jessica Chastain is a bit pissed off that her doppelganger is basically the star of a billion dollar movie. Meanwhile she's doing The Huntsman? It's like they switched careers. This must be an alternate universe.

    This could have done well in April or August. Im afraid that Jurassic World and Inside Out have taken a mass majority of the audience that this film needs in order to succeed. Going with 10m/45m

    But it does help his already positive image, you cant deny that. Every celebrity does it from time to time. I'd rather they use it for good causes like this anyway.

    Yeah but they're not the only ones coming out with films. Next year we're going to have 7 superhero films; Im not saying that MCU will be killed, just that its inevitable that one or two will fail or under-perform.

    Disney still took a loss with Tomorrowland though, so Inside Out breaking out will help mitigate that. Ant-man needs to hit it out of the park too. It sounds weird saying it but by the end of the summer, the big news could likely not be about Marvel Studios or superhero films.

    There are no losers at the BO this weekend. WOW. Disney needed this after Tomorrowland flopped, since they the fewest releases out of all other studios.

    Cinemascore isnt worth anything, they ask a small sample size. Im not sure why its still being reported on by major trades.

    But you just claimed that you weret sure of its popularity because of one little girl who wasnt interested. Until i see some concrete evidence proving otherwise, im going to assume alarge majority of little kids out there and adults too, love those yellow critters.
