  1. Shouldn't Cinderella be #10 on that list & not The Wedding Ringer - looks like Cindy's numbers are higher.
  2. I loved Cinderella - I did not like Maleficent at all but movies here are compared all the time and it seems only the Jolie fans take it so seriously & have to defend her to the death!! I don't know what they are seeing but Cinderella looks to be doing fine to me - Cinderella grossed only $662,000 less than Maleficent yesterday & the reviews & the WOM have been stellar. Oh & Maleficent was down 58.1% on the same day so not a big difference is there?? This is what was posted today:
  3. Nope - grew up in the Northeast & went to Catholic school & never had off for St. Paddy's Day - my kids grew up in the Midwest & they didn't either. Also regarding Spring Break - not everyone has Spring Break this week - my daughter does but her friends had it last week & my nephew has it in April.
  4. I am an "older demo" & me & my sister definitely checked it out because of Colin Firth - we loved it!!
  5. One of my all time favorite comedies - the whole cast is great but Kevin Kline is absolutely fantastic!! Definitely an A+
  6. I got no problem with his opinion on Eli - Eli did beat Tom in the Superbowl twice!!
  7. Cowboys, Patriots, Redskins & Giants are all worth billions
  8. To each his own - I love watching the NFL - I tried to watch the World Cup but to be honest I'd rather stick pins in my eyes - I found it boring as hell!! Why do people from other countries have to put down football or the Superbowl?? If you don't like it don't watch it - just like I will never watch soccer again!! And of course there are more viewers for the World Cup - soccer is popular everywhere in the world - why I don't know!!
  9. Watched this 20 times with my grandson - he was addicted to it for awhile & addicted to the song I Want Candy. Wasn't too bad - I have seen far worse kid's movies. B+
  10. I was a kid when my family went to see The Sting - that movie got a standing ovation - never have seen anything like it since!!
  11. I just have to ask - why bring Jen (Cake) into everything regarding your Dame?? Wasn't the world over that years ago already?? Can't you just celebrate Angelina without bringing Jen into it?? I mean the photo of Jen crying posted earlier by another poster - Really??? And Congrats to you on Unbroken.
  12. Yes it was - I really liked it - hope the movie doesn't disappoint.
  13. And Michael Keaton won the award there for Best Actor - does that make him "desperate & retarded" too??? Whoever watched the show now know about the movies Cake & Birdman - good advertising.
  14. I am so looking forward to seeing Shep Gordon - glad you liked it!!!

  17. So excited for this - one of my favorite books of all time!! And I agree - who could play Pennywise better than Curry?? But sorry Baumer no Bradley Cooper - I do not care for him!!
  18. Some lady was doing that behind me last summer - mind you her mother was hard of hearing & I finally turned around & yelled Shut the Hell Up & she did!! Some people have absolutely no respect for others!!
  19. Do lots of people really go to the movies on the day before Thanksgiving?? Most adults are working & then getting ready for the holiday or traveling - kids by me had a half day of school. I don't know anybody who goes so I guess I was not expecting fantastic numbers. I will wait for the weekend numbers to see the full picture.
