That's what happens when your tent pole films of the summer did way below expectations even though one got good reviews and other got excellent reviews. It is demoralizing. As for Kingsman 2, it is their next big film coming out in 2 months. They have to start pushing it hard if they want to match the first one's domestic gross, so best way to start is comic con panel,footage and MAYBE screening of the film. oh and don't worry...Ryan Reynolds WILL crash the party..Kinda like Hugh Jackman did it in 2008 for xmen origins wolverine.

That's good in my book. Deepwater horizon was great movie and deserved do do much more at box-office. Haven't watched Patriot's Day.

I see Dunkirk and GT popping up everywhere on Fandango pulse. Hell even Apes 3 and SMHC are doing very well. Rest are not worth talking about.

Fassbender is just on auto pilot mode nowadays. In every movie his acting is beginning to look like a combo of Magneto+Android character from Prometheus. Visually speaking, this looks really great. The trailer for the most part was very effective. Has potential, but Fassbender has ZERO draw. The MI girl will save it....oh wait...she was also in LIFE.

looks pretty good minus the fire bear...kosinski couldn't help himself! As far as BO prospects are concerned...dunno...this has miles and taylor...so...Brolin has to do the heavy lifting.

Bad for apes 3. Fox must be mightily pissed with how AC and Apes 3 fared this summer. Logan is their shining jewel so far this year.

Pretty sure I mentioned in Apes thread that this will struggle to top rise as it ain't fun for the public. Dawn might have gotten excellent reviews (I liked it a lot), but the average moviegoer didn't really like it that much. That and this being bleaker than dawn doesn't help its BO prospects. Will catch it though sometime this week.

So not only is this not getting an Imax release but it won't be getting a proper plf 3d release. Majority of the screenings will be on shitty 3d screens, which will not do it any favours. Way to go Besson. TBH, it feels like everyone in North America is ganging up to ensure its swift demise because it's outside of the system and they have no stake whatsoever in it.

This film was HUGE in India.

Beginning reminded me of 10,000 BC. The CGI on bisons was awful. The wolves look great. The wolf and human part might be be best part. Rest looks shit. Overall, I will catch it on the interwebs unless this gets 80+% on RT.
