  1. Did I just see someone riding motorcycle to surf the wave....?
  2. If the movie has an opening credit the actual running time might be in low 70s
  3. Currently at page 30ish of the script. So far, I'm getting quirky existential indie movie vibe.
  4. I see Lights Out being mention more than Star Trek on my FB and Twitter.
  5. That GB number is mindblowing, considering the fact that it had bad trailers with so many dislikes, and negative buzz from fans and anyone with social media account months leading up to its release.
  6. Conjuring 2 will also pass $300m WW eventually. James Wan did good
  7. Wow. I thought CW would have passed IM3 by now, but I don't think it will
  8. Three horror films I watched at TIFF 2015 are coming out this year: Baskin (???) February (July 15) Demon (sept 9) All solid horror films. Baskin had good visual style. Somewhat gory as well. February was a slow movie, and tbh I didn't really understand it. From what I remember, it could be about girl's sexual awakening in a symbolic way. Not much flat-out horror, but more of building atmosphere of the setting Demon was rather an original take on exorcism. Good cinematography, acting and story. Overall it wasn't just a good horror movie. It was a good movie
  9. Didn't know people are generally liking this movie. Currently it has imdb rating of 6.9, and that is actually pretty good.
  10. I thought these emails were annoying. But I wonder whether these offers actually make significant bump at the BO.
  11. I remember when HP3 came out in 2004. Some reports claimed that HP3 would beat Spider-Man's OW record after Friday estimate came out. Then surprisingly, it decreased on Saturday. I think today's marketing is more geared towards frontloading of BO performance. Movies have to earn money quickly before competitions arrive in a couple of weeks.
