Following IT numbers its just so exciting for me because its the first time in my life that i am following a horror movie with this kind of money making, i mean it its just insane, and i followed runs that were great for horror movies in the past, but nothing like it. For me it numers are like titanics or The Avengers or Star Wars 7, its its just insane numbers for a horror movie today. I wasnt following box office for the time of jaws or the exorcist, so this is the first time i am following a run like that with that kind of numbers for a horror movie like IT. This is so great and exciting. Also, as a plus i am a King fan and i loved the book.

Just wanted to say that i havent loved LOVED a Super Hero movie so much since the first SpiderMan. I am just so happy to finally have a great DC movie in this new DC era. Please, give the next Supeman movie to this director. Just tfor context, i hated Batman v Super, Liked Man of Steel, liked Suicide Squad (hated the joker), Loved The Dark Knight, liked Batman Begins, didnt like The dark knight returns.

I love burtons Batman movies so much. I remember being a teenager and wearing the black shirt with the yellow logo making me feel so cool at the time. I mean Nolan's The dark knight was so great but for me Burtons movies are so great i just love them, the atmosphere, the pinguin, i still remember when catwoman first appeared and her interactions with the pinguin.

Harry Potter 7.2 made $960,500,000 outside USA in 2011 The Force Awakens made $1,131,561,399 in 2015/2016 Of course they are spin off movies, also there is no Harry Potter, Hermione and Ron in this new movie. And even there is going to be Darth Vader, there is no going to be Han solo, Leia and Luke in Rogue One. For me, the edge outside USA will be for Fantastic Beasts, it's a hunch. Also, Star Wars bassically its almost split 50/50 in its box office in Usa and outside USa. Harry potter gets a lot more in % more from outside USA and i thinks this will make the difference.

I have a question, why cant a horror movie now at this day be a huge tentpole movie? For example Jaws did $260,000,000 Have been any horror movies as successful and hige at the box office as Jaws and The Exorcist?. I know they have been huge successfully horror movies at the box office but have been any other horror movie as successfully as Jaws and The Exorcist ( $193,000,000 ) levels? and if the answer is not then my question is why? Why cant an horror movie today be a tentpole movie and do huge blockbusters level number? Sorry for my bad english.

When they announced that this was with out will smith i still believed that this could get 200-220 in the usa alone. It was still a independece day movie, cool visuals, alien invasion movie, Emmerich the master of destruction porn. I was hoping something like spielbergs war of the worlds domestic cume.

I don't know if it is because i am 37 and i watched all those movies disney made when i was a kid ( the one with a monkey that choose hit tv shows, the one when this guy was a computer, witch mountain, petes dragon, etc) but i am really excited since they anounced the remake of this movie. The trailer looks great and i really love the dragons design.

I don't know if this matters, i saw TFA 5 times at the theaters even i am not a huge star wars fan, but the movie was just such a lot of fun and i really liked rey and Finn. Also, i saw all star wars films in the theater at some time, Prequels 1-3 when they first came out, and the OT reedition in theaters when this first came out. So for me, watching TFA was like seeing The Avengers in the sense that this was like a rare reunion after all this time for all this characters, like the avengers 1 was a rare event reunion for all its characters). Han Solo and Chewie and Leia and r2d2 with c3po plus also this 3 new characters (Rey, Finn and BB8) was like an Avengers 1 event for me but with Star Wars. For BvS is basically was what wanted to see my whole life, this two together for the first time, but the movie was just bad, and also it was not fun. I saw this movie one and a half time in theaters, the half time is because i just was so bored with this movie, and the Lex Luthor character was so bad and such a bad copy of The Joker, it was just so a bad movie and a deception for me. With Civil War we must really see here the great job that Whedon did with The Avengers. It was so much fun and such a great directed movie from the start until the end with the shawarma scene. Civil War suffered from not having Whedon IMO, had some funny scenes, it was great seeing spider man, black panther was great, and ant man also was great in that airport scene but the whole movie for me was just not as good as Ultron or The Avengers. So, in conclusion i say that yes, there is a fatigue but not for super heroes just for the avengers super heroes, just a small fatigue, they have to make this super heroes reunions something special, something like a a event every few years, and not make every marvel superhero movie a super heroes mini reunion movie. If you are going to make a captain america movie just make a Captain America Movie, if you are going to make a Spider Man movie just make a spiderman Movie (don't put iron man in there), and every few year put all this super heroes together to make a big rare event avengers movie. ALso, not having the words "Avengers" in the movie hurt the box office a little bit. And finally the first half of the civil war movie was just boring. I truly don't understand the ratings that Civil War got when for me Ultron was a more fun and better movie, and The Avengers 1 was so much better and miles ahead better than Civil War. I am saying all of this as a mega super fan of this whole cinematic marvel movies, i watch them all and i love them all. But for me nothing can top The Avengers 1 ( a lot of solo superhero movies and then the culmination movie directed so great by Joss Whedon).
