Not huge weekly drops in Europe. The UK is pretty good as far as I can tell, Germany is mediocre. Only France seems to be bad.

As has been said though, her point wasn't to whine about not being offered more per say, it was to complain about a work environment in which a woman asking for more pay is seen as whiny, or bitchy, or whatever. Also I don't think writing an opinion piece article is 'high school'. Plenty of actresses are starting to talk about it and in the modern world she's one of the best known.

Considering how this is basically following Furious 7 just worse, and Furious 7's third Tuesday was only a 13.6% bump, I really can't see BvS managing a 30% bump.

According to denofgeek they're off it, they wrote the treatment but now they're doing Han Solo so the writing and directing will solely go to Seth Grahame-Smith.

What a sound strategy, it really shows a focused attitude to this whole Universe. Thank God they got the guy who wrote an Ice Age film and Pan.

Gadot has said it'll have "moments of humor, but it’s pretty dark". I think a dark WW film could work, but I've no idea if Patty Jenkins can pull it off. Monster was excellent, but the script she will work with may not be great.

Not sure about that, Beasts of No Nation was snubbed mainly because it was a Netflix production. Though this is an animated movie, so who knows if it'll pique the Academy's interest.

Ha true, though from what I've read about Reynolds and Deadpool he was genuinely passionate about it.

I get the feeling Reynolds will follow the Hugh Jackman route now, sure he'll be in other films, but he'll overwhelmingly be associated with Deadpool and will play the character for years. It's clear he loves the role This is a great result for the film and I expect very soon we'll hear confirmation of a sequel and maybe an X-Force movie.
