  1. And another Vegas gaffe, in Transformers 1, they cut from driving at Hoover Dam to driving at Red Rock Canyon in an instant even though they are complete opposite sides of the city.
  2. Oh, and speaking of Clooney, at the end of Oceans 13 when he's talking to Brad Pitt at the airport, you see signs for D gate boarding behind Brad Pitt, and then you see Southwest Airline planes behind Clooney. Southwest doesn't fly out of D gates at McCarran.
  3. Speaking of which, in reality, they didn't actually use a thumbs up or thumbs down system.
  4. Take away the top 6 and you actually have a somewhat respectable list. ROTK overrated??? Bahahahaha!!!My most overrated film the last few years was Captain America. Generic, rehashed, and predictable.
  5. The Fall was the saddest f'ing movie ever, in some parts. It was done very well and artistically. The cinematography was out of this world. But man, it was so difficult to watch without feeling my soul getting ripped out.Speaking of sad and underrated movies, I have to vote for Ned Kelly, a Western starring Heath Ledger and Orlando Bloom in I think 2005. I'm not really one for drama, but that one definitely deserves more recognition.
  6. Kids will flock to this no matter what, since it is Disney. But I just don't see a Manga movie breaking out, no matter how good it is. $220M I think is the ceiling, but it might do closer to WIR numbers, which would still be awesome for Disney regardless.
  7. Dang, I was hoping it would be based on the board game! Oh well, I guess it's only a matter of time anyway. I hear they are making a Guess Who game. Or not.
  8. Who's Cyclone? The IMDB page was updated in December... 9 months after Spielberg said he "hoped" it would come out in Dec 2015 in an interview.
  9. It got moved to Dec 16, 2016: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1037226/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_in_film
  10. I'm on the W-i-R bandwagon in terms of gross. I can't really see this breaking out. It'll be hard to sell Manga to the general audience, but Disney and Marvel will at least put out a very good product.
  11. There's so much animation. 11 movies in 2016, another 11 announced in 2017 already. Pixar and DWA are fighting the same DAY in mid-June for both years! Dory vs. Dragon. Who's moving?
  12. I'm surprised too that they're not fast tracking this sooner. What about July 29th 2016 as counter-programming to Planet of the Apes? Maybe they're able to keep costs down by having a smaller production team, hence the longer wait.
  13. Aren't they planning on filming multiple Pirates movies together? Along with production problems with Bruckheimer leaving? That would explain the delays, which enabled Alice 2 to come out in 2016.
  14. Funny how the BOM article said weather wasn't a factor, citing last year's similar drops, when he forgot that last year also saw a snowpocalypse.
  15. 3 Action-packed movies from very popular franchises might be a little much. At least movie it up a week or delay to next April or something.
  16. I believe this is true. But as Shawn said, I come back for the sound.I usually go to a larger cineplex like an AMC 30 so the screen is at least big enough. But man the sound is still amazing. A Good Day to Die Hard did not disappoint!
