  1. Yeah, I'm pretty sure a lot will move. No way they release 3 animated features, a DC movie, and the Lego sequel all within 5 weekends of each other. I don't see Toy Story moving from that prime date. DM3 might move a week or two into early July, like its previous films. Fox, with the sub-par domestic performance of Dragon, won't have any leverage and will probably have to move Dragon 3 to late July or August, which would force their Untitled Animation (on July 21st) to move to the Fall, possibly to Black Panther's date.
  2. I don't even care for the movie or Seth Rogen, and I agree with this wholeheartedly. Let's just all live in caves now to be safe, right?
  3. I thought Wright's films were fun, but nothing of his screams blockbuster material. Hope he proves me wrong.
  4. Well, got a month left to keep updating: 1) Avengers: Age of Ultron - $660M 2) Star Wars Episode VII - $550M 3) Mocking Jay Part 2 - $340M 4) Minions - $300M 5) Fast 7 - $280M 6) Bond 24 - $270M 7) Jurassic World - $260M 8) Ant-Man - $240M 9) Cinderella - $220M 10) Inside Out - $220M
  5. That said, Hobbit will win, hands down.
  6. His death alone won't make much of a difference, but because of it, I think Universal wants to push the marketing for this like crazy. So it could make a big difference indirectly.
  7. Wow, $30M spent before production even started? On a biopic, no less? It probably has to make at least $100M to break even. Maybe they should sell ipads at the theaters.
  8. Something wrong with the title. Interstellar $21-23M weekend and Big Hero 6 $15-17M weekend?
  9. Wait, what? They're doing another Steve Jobs movie right after the original one JUST came out and flopped??? Is Hollywood planning to reboot The Lone Ranger then?
  10. I haven't heard any buzz for this at all. Seemingly overshadowed by Interstellar. The families will come out to see it anyway, but I feel like it doesn't have that extra push to generate more income.
  11. The eventual team up movie should be called Monopoly: Dawn of Passing Go.
  12. Yeah, didn't they already sell their Spider-man merchandise rights to Disney? Let the dominoes fall...
