  1. Well, you can't have a multiverse without variants. Both concepts are linked.
  2. MCU officially ended with Endgame. Everything else could be or should be considered a "what if scenario", imo. Spider Man No Way Home basically had nostalgia to boost its performance. Most of general audiences were excited to see Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire back, characters from Sony movies. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was basically the end for the characters that were introduced in GOTG 1. It's almost its own thing, split from MCU. Wakanda Forever had people curious about who would be the new Black Panther. I really don't care about anything else. I'm somehow more curious to watch freaking Madame Web, Kraven and even Venom 3, rather than anything MCU related.
  3. Lol at The Marvels dropping more than Fant4stic and Morbius. Hell, even Fant4stic had a multiplier a little higher than 2x, which is probably not happening with The Marvels. What the hell is going on?
  4. Well, the rule is simple. People vote with their wallets. If people aren't interested in a movie, then they shouldn't be watching that movie. So, they have to save their damn hard earned money and spend it in something they feel it deserves a penny. Now, if people aren't interested in a movie because they think MCU should do better movies, then it's very necessary NOT giving money to a movie they feel it doesn't deserve it. As a consequence, we should celebrate the failure, because a flop / failure will probably be a warning to the studio, so better movies will be released instead of mediocre ones. I don't know what's the problem with celebrating a flop. I'm glad as hell that Fant4stic flopped. I mean, if people had given money to that crap, we would be getting Fant4stic 2 and so on. So, I'm glad it flopped because crappy movies like that doesn't deserve money. It's ironic that Fant4stic still made 111 million overseas, 8 years ago. The Marvels isn't getting that, which is hilarious.
  5. Yeah, Black Adam was definitely a flop, but the numbers alone weren't bad for a D- character. Like you said, the main problem was the movie's insanely high budget and The Rock's ego. The movie also didn't have a China release, so it would probably have made more than 400 million worldwide ( perhaps almost 500 million ), which unfortunately didn't happen. While it was a flop, it had a better CinemaScore than The Marvels and the action scenes were impressive. The Rock's ego really damaged the performance. A reasonable budget of 120/130 million would have been so much better and maybe, just maybe we would have a new hierarchy! lol
  6. This movie ended with 111 million overseas, and that happened 8 years ago. The Marvels is probably making less and selling less tickets too. Amazing!
  7. Fant4stic finished with 111 million overseas, and that happened 8 years algo. The Marvels might not get to that ammount of money!
  8. Well, she played the role in 3 movies already. So, yeah, she already "did it again".
  9. Does anybody know if Marvel stills remembers the three eyed Dr Strange from Multiverse of Madness? What happened to him? Where's Shang Chi? Where's Harry Styles character? What about the Blade offscreen voice in Eternals? Not only the quality is falling fast in MCU. The lack of plan is very clear. They don't know where to go with the story.
  10. Fant4stic made 167 million worldwide 8 years ago. Can The Marvels touch that?
  11. That B CinemaScore is what Flash, Green Lantern, Catwoman, Watchmen, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Elektra, Quantumania and Eternals all got. Nice company!
  12. I'm being honest. Weekend is already here. The thread should be unlocked. Those who don't play by the rules, shall pay by not playing by the rules. This should happen to every person who violates the terms of use. By keeping a thread locked, then every thread also should be locked, which is unfair. So, release the Kraken! Whoever breaks the rules, there'll be consequences. I think that should be enough. Love and peace always, folks!
  13. Yeah, the RT Audience score doesn't mean a lot of things, but some CinemaScores might correlate to these audience reactions. However, you're right regarding PostTrak data. We need both together, so we can have more info in that regard.
