  1. A fresh Saw movie wasn't in my bingo card...lol Why are critics enjoying a 10th movie of a franchise where even the fantastic Saw 1 was rotten? While I never cared about critics ( I'm a huge Saw fan ), I'm really curious about this.
  2. So far, 8 fresh reviews and 2 rotten on Rotten Tomatoes
  3. According to Variety, Saw X has a budget of 13 million. So, making 15/20 million for opening weekend probably will lead to the inevitable Saw XI, right?
  4. Production budget estimated in 10 million https://screenrant.com/saw-x-budget-box-office-prediction/#:~:text=Summary,with the franchise's previous films.
  5. This is the 10th movie of a franchise where all 9 previous movies were rotten. At this point, people are either in or out. These movies are as critic proof as they can be. At least, critics shouldn't matter for this franchise, BUT it's good to see people saying it returns to its roots.
  6. It seems social embargo has lifted...
  7. Well, the producers don't get the point of a movie called Expendables. I enjoyed the movie for being so dumb it's good, BUT Statham saved it from being boring. CinemaScore won't be pretty.
  8. Having watched this one, I'm curious about the CinemaScore. It's a dumb fun movie, but it's also very stupid and has some really bad effects and some weird editing and a stupid twist. I'm biased for this kind of movies and I think fans of previous ones will enjoy it a bit, but this is getting 100% the worst CinemaScore of them. The producers and writers don't get the point of a movie called Expendables.
  9. I'm back after a screening! It was much better than Expendables 3, for sure. That I can say. The R rating really helps at all. It's ok. Maybe 6.5 / 7 out of 10, but I'm biased and enjoy that kind of flick. So, perhaps many won't like it.
  10. So, is this gonna be the "Mother!" of DC? F CinemaScore incoming for Aquaman? Killing a baby is a big no? Anyway, this is a movie and we're talking about test screenings and everyone is assuming there were walkouts because of a scene that everyone assumes it's about a baby getting killed. Remember, these are the same scoopers that said The Flash was the best comic book movie since TDK. James Wan is a very competent director and he knows what he's doing. I think the movie will be fine. Many people are just jumping into conclusions, based on tweets and scoops from some users that are sometimes reliable, sometimes not.
  11. Looks quite good and the visuals are amazing. It might perform really well enough to get a sequel, which will get the "Elseworlds" treatment.
  12. Well, this seems to be the kind of "more of the same" movie. The "more of the same" approach isn't always a bad thing, BUT this is following The Nun, and that one was very bad. So, I'm really not feeling anything and definitely no hype. I'm actually more excited to watch Saw X, which is quite impressive for a 10th Saw movie.
  13. The PostTrak exits for Gran Turismo are insanely good. 5 stars. We can wait for a great A CinemaScore.
  14. I can't wait for it. Regarding the opening weekend, this is the 10th movie of a franchise. Double digits would be amazing. These movies aren't that expensive and they can pay themselves easily.
  15. Whoa!!! Barbie is a killing doll and Oppy is blowing up competition! I'm happy for their numbers! However, the biggest surprise is still Sound of Freedon. It's obviously beating Mission Impossible domestic, Flash, Indy, Shazam 2, Scream VI, Dungeons and Dragons. That wasn't in my bingo card! XD
  16. Yeah. Thanks to Barbie, WB will recover everything they lost with The Flash, only to lose everything again when Blue Beetle gets released and it flops.
  17. As much as I'm not interested in Barbie or Oppy ( I'm in the minority obviously ), they're probably getting great CinemaScores. At least, based on the info shared by Deadline. Barbie got 4 and 1/2 stars and Oppy got 5 stars. Sure, these are PostTrak scores and not CinemaScores. I think they could get different, but both flicks will probably land on the A range, imo. I don't like Barbie and I really don't want to see a 3 hour movie featuring people talking in rooms. Yeah, I'm biased against these movies, BUT I also hope you get the best experience watching them. I'm a Mission Impossible fan, though!
  18. The box office numbers are exactly what they seem to be. There's some conspiracy BS from some people claiming nobody is watching this movie and that every theater is empty and the studio is paying all the money. These people are doing exactly what they accuse others of doing ( conspiracy ). It's quite unfortunate that they probably didn't even watch the movie. In the reality, movie is great ( at least, imo ) and it's very well acted and produced.
