  1. Anyone hoping all CEOs to lose their jobs will be solely disappointed.
  2. I did think it was strange that Captain America got moved when it was wrapped a lot sooner. I think that might end up moving back to May. I could see Disney moving Snow White to May 31st, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes to July or August. Anything that's ADR or voice acted only like Mufasa and DM4 likely won't be affected as voice work can done within weeks if not days. Twisters is one I think maybe November or December? It's unlikely to make July but 2012 proved that you can make bank with a disaster film in November.
  3. I think scheduling changes were always likely, I think Thunderbolts will still make December 2024 but Mission Impossible and Deadpool 3 are moving but the studios were lucky that a lot of stuff was already in the can so it probably won't be too noticeable unlike with Covid.
  4. I do think certain people who were proclaiming the strikes would be going on until 2024 are probably going to be eating humble pie.
  5. I assume picketing on The View and DWTS will stop. Will Matt Walsh technically be able to return? I assume that's if he withdraws, it won't be a huge issue since DWTS has reserves.
  6. I'll laugh so hard if Drew ends up having any of the actors who basically threatened her on social media on her show.
  7. I would imagine scheduling meetings with SAG will start soonish.
  8. TBH Most people will have forgotten Drew's faux pas by November if not January. Maher will still remain an asshole though.
  9. SNL should wait until SAG is sorted otherwise they're limited in terms who's available. I would bet they have sketches that were written for the finale in May that didn't go ahead so they likely have some material banked. I would imagine SAG will be called in for a meeting either on Tuesday or Wednesday or next week.
  10. SAG has already said DWTS is fine as it's under a different contract.
  11. I bet DWTS will now go ahead, I imagine Matt Walsh will be able to rejoin as well. The View now doesn't have to deal with picketers anymore.
  12. I would imagine a few tweaks here and there but nothing too dramatic, Captain America I think will move up since it was already done and dusted before the strikes and they'll move Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes from May to late July. WB I think will move either Mickey 17 from March to either July or August with Juror Number 2 which I think can be done fairly quickly to either Beetlejuice 2's September slot or late October.
  13. In theory, the talk shows can start again fairly quickly since Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel are under a different contract for SAG AFTRA. SNL I'm not sure what it comes under as it's a live sketch show.
  14. I think the SAG AFTRA strike will be done and dusted in October if not November. I suspect Dune will stay in March and WB will focus on having Timmy do promo for Wonka in December.
  15. I assume it'll be filmed early 2024. The first was filmed in six weeks so it'll make the release date.
  16. Amazon adding ads to Prime Video and increasing the ad free version pruce is a way to increase revenue
  17. KFP4 is likely done and dusted in terms of the animation or at least close, voice work for these types of roles takes very little time. In regards to the WGA picketing, why they continue to picket The View is beyond me, they're not going to succeed shutting it down.
  18. The Tiger's Apprentice must be pretty bad not to get a theatrical release.
  19. I'm surprised Expendables cost so much, I assume it's all funded by Millenium Media who then sells it to different distributor to recoup the cost.
  20. I would imagine the revenue sharing point from SAG would be dropped if favour of a bigger increase of minimum payments since not all actors would benefit from the former.
  21. It reminds me of what happened at the Tony Awards, WGA members who are also playwrights had to plead with their own guild to not have the awards be picketed and I suspect it would have been a bad move given it's not WGA's purview anyway.
