Bolded part certainly like 100 year old milk, if they can’t get Spidey negotiations back on track. Thor4 is still most anticipated 2021 CBM but Batman would be in the running for 2nd.
These are some serious allegations of financial impropriety, but they don't have anything to do with BO grosses, lol. Reading comprehension of some people is kindergarten level.
Yeah, the run shows that Venom’s club was more within reach than I thought at the time. If the reception was great (US and China, clearly the reception in some countries is incredible) I think we’d have hit 2B
Relative regional strength is roughly Europe>>LA>DOM>>Asia from what I can see. If it played like Europe everywhere it would beat Endgame. If it played like Asia everywhere it would make... low 900s?
Aside from the “they were all JCS” joke response, it’s logical that the more hardcore ones would be more active during the 2 decades they were on top, and especially for the month or so when it looked like Endgame would miss.
If the MCU loses the #1 crown, I wouldn’t be super inclined to hang around this particular thread for the next couple months.
Not very good legs for Spidey in the end, but with that opening can’t complain too much. H&S did really solid business even after the holiday, not quite sure what’s going on there.
Reading the article that lorddemaxus linked it doesn’t even look like a movie blacklist, just having his name kept out of the media back then. That was in 2014, and he indeed had a main role in a movie with a huge theatrical release in China just last year. Basically this is old news and not an issue.
IF he came out clearly against the police force today, that could be a problem, but I kind of doubt that will happen.
Yeah, raw numbers were pretty small by then. Looking at the really late legs (like, 8th weekend multipliers and whatnot) isn’t really important for actual legs since most of the money is made before the 8th weekend. It’s more of an intellectual curiosity/trivia at that point.
