  1. It seems a little awkward to have such a long gap between movies in the middle of Phase Five, but what do I know?
  2. Aren’t the distribution rights for Namor still tied up with Universal?
  3. Out of the two currently unannounced 2025 movies, I assume one of them will be Armor Wars. Not sure about the other one. I want to say it would be Shang-Chi 2, but they’d have to get a different director, because Destin Daniel Cretton will already be preoccupied. I guess it could also be a new Spider-Man movie, but that would be part of Sony’s release schedule, not Disney’s. Also, if Disney doesn’t move this to November, then Dune 2 might as well take the November 3rd spot.
  4. Planet of the Apes currently isn’t in as dire of a position as the Predator franchise.
  5. Why would moving this to November risk a boycott anymore than keeping it in July?
  6. The character is an ARGUS agent who appeared in TSS, and had a supporting role in Peacemaker. She also recently married James Gunn in real life.
  7. The more I see and hear from this movie, the less generic it looks. Still not sure it’ll do great business, but it does look like something that would’ve done pretty well back in 2015.
  8. I never claimed that MoS didn’t have weak legs, but the idea for BvS came about before the movie was released, not after. That’s why the movie had the Wayne Enterprises Easter Egg.
  9. There’s no evidence to support this. Snyder has talked about how the idea for BvS first came about after The Avengers was released, and Jay Olivia mentioned that Snyder showed him storyboards of Batman fighting Superman around March 2013, which was three months before the release of MoS.
  10. That’s not quite accurate. BvS was already in development before MoS was released.
  11. I can’t imagine this movie getting a 2x multiplier, unless it’s seen as a noticeable improvement over Kills.
  12. Nah, NWH had its reviews posted a day or two before release. Sony was trying to keep the movie under wraps as much as possible. It’s the same strategy Disney did with TFA and EG.
  13. I’m well aware that Dracula is public domain. That’s why I said that there’s no point in calling the character Count Orlok.
