From what I can tell from putting the review through a translator, he claims that he’s looking at the movie specifically as a Spider-Man fan, rather than through a more objective lens, so maybe that’s why the score is as low as it is?
The TASM movies feel so manufactured and focus group tested. They were pretty much only made because Sony didn’t want to lose the rights to the franchise. There wasn’t really much of a sense of a creative voice. They were just chasing trends.
With that said, the Andrew Garfield movies aren’t completely without merit. They’re by no means in the same boat as something like Fant4stic.

YouTube dislikes are not viewable anymore, but even if they were, I seriously doubt that people on YouTube would mass dislike the trailer on the count of J.K. Rowling’s transphobia. This is YouTube we’re talking about. It’s more likely that they’d dislike the trailer for recasting Grindelwald.
Three years ago, I argued that there was no more interest in Batman after the Snyder movies, but after Joker, and after seeing how much buzz this movie seems to be generating, I’ve long since abandoned that argument. Still, that doesn’t mean people should be expecting a billion dollar movie.
