They wouldn’t even need to show Maguire and Garfield outside of their costumes. Just include a money shot of the three Spider-Men together, and the Internet would shatter.

I personally never had a problem with the MCU skipping the origin. I mostly just think it’s odd that they’ve gone out of their way to avoid actually mentioning Uncle Ben by name in the MCU thus far. You can establish his importance in Peter’s life, without showing him getting shot.

If I’m understanding this right, the alleged reason for the heavy reshoots is that COVID impacted the initial shoot?

They should release another trailer, if only to make it as clear as possible that this is coming out in December. Yes, TV spots and posters do help, but they generally don’t get as much attention as a full trailer.

Avatar 2 has been in post-production for over a year now. If it needs to be pushed back again, that would be insane.

Even though I don’t think this movie is great or anything, I am a bit confused why, out of 26 MCU movies, this is the one where critics and audiences drew the line.

If Vin Diesel has to beg the Rock to come back, that would suggest that making this movie a two parter might not be a viable strategy.

Just got out. It’s not great, but I can’t say I’d call it the worst movie that Marvel has made. It also still has plenty of that trademark Marvel humor, but I suppose it is more somber than the typical Marvel movie overall.

They mentioned in FFH that all the kids who were blipped had to repeat the school year, which would certainly suck for them. The entire idea of half the world’s population being gone for five years, then returning without having aged at all sounds like a logistical and emotional nightmare.
