  1. Not a fan of Garner, but I am a fan of Abbott and Whannell.
  2. This actually isn’t too bad, as It Lives Inside is also from Neon. These previews could suggest more than double their previous horror openings (Infinity Pool).
  3. Glad you thought it was good. I seen it on Saturday and got a kick out of those upsetting things lol. So gnarly. It’s a shame Neon are so small though, because Immaculate, Cuckoo and Longlegs all are/look extremely interesting. But the marketing power just isn’t available to them.
  4. I don’t think it’s a horror film and thankfully haven’t had any twists spoiled. But my answer would be: more than $2.5m.
  5. 100%. But I have a carefully selected follow list so I only get to see this good stuff. This film is like catnip to the Letterboxd/A24 crowd. They’re loud online but don’t always show up.
  6. That’s a great hold for Imaginary -44% in second weekend. Great for Dune and Panda. Not great for Arthur the King, but to be fair I didn’t know about it until a few weeks ago. These dog movies used to do high teens easily though. Sad for Love Lies Bleeding. From my twitter timeline you’d think it was a film the whole of America was seeing 😂😂
  7. *pretends to be shocked* gif Thats disappointing to hear though after X being so good. But I can’t say I’m surprised.
  8. Ah I didn’t mean box office sorry, just in your response to them not releasing R rated films through Fox.
  9. Oooh it’s good. Really good. Not sure how the ending will go down with mainstream American audiences, but I loved it. Makes full use of its 18 rating. It’s actually more Midsommar and Ready or Not than The Nun, which I really appreciated. No spoilers.
  10. Cabrini nowhere to be seen then lol. Ghostbusters and Immaculate next weekend. Then Kung Fu Panda 4 vs Godzilla vs Kong on Easter weekend.
  11. Ah that makes more sense then. I thought with SNL, SXSW, Fallon, premieres etc that Neon were going harder than usual. Whoever is releasing it in the UK is doing a better job but maybe it’s social media mostly.
  12. Oh wow, I was hoping Immaculate could break out lol. Guess not.
  13. I’m happy this film won, really thought it was excellent. Sandra Huller’s performance was of course incredible.
  14. This is so cute, she took her grandmothers to the premiere. https://x.com/thr/status/1768827864051507464?s=46&t=ivGmGl6bx9yMhARnU2Vzxw
  15. Were the Friday jumps terrible because of spring break?
  16. One Life made the eqivelant of $100m here in the UK in January.
  17. Love that A24 have retweeted this with a “get tickets now” link
  18. Another smash for Ariana DeBose lol. Her agent, honestly. This is 23% on RT, it was 0% for ages. Which fits in with your painful description @TheDude391 lol
  19. Wasn’t a fan of Men, so I’ll wait until we get closer to it. The SXSW crowd can be hysterical.
  20. Oh I have no ties to the original, seen it in the 90s when I was a kid but can’t remember it. But Bill Skarsgård looks extremely attractive here. Plenty of gore too. Revenge films seem popular just now.
  21. https://x.com/jfcdoomblade/status/1767782233736433705?s=46&t=ivGmGl6bx9yMhARnU2Vzxw
  22. An all-timer ending? This years Barbarian? Sold (as if I wasn’t already).
