  1. Also for me: The darker stuff didn´t really feel that dark. I get maybe why some might have reacted but I think most will be fine with this tbh.
  2. Yeah this was just incredible. Incredible movie, everything worked so well for me. This is what the MCU needed quality wise. What a insane talented man James Gunn is.
  3. 4,2 on Letterboxd now, getting really hyped seeing so many people loving it
  4. It has almost 2k "reviews" which is WHEN someone has written something alongside the score. As for the scores themselves it´s: 5 stars: 869 4,5 stars: 878 4 stars: 1,1K 3,5 stars: 429 3 stars: 216 2,5 stars: 67 2 stars: 38 1,5 Stars: 15 1 stars: 6 0,5 stars: 15 Avg score is 4,1. Just overwhelmingly positive so far EDIT: @JohnnyGossamer forgot to quote you
  5. 140M is basically impossible at this moment in time, and I don´t really think sales can improve to the point that is viable.
  6. Norway: Just 3 hours until first screening Vol 3 and pre-sales is pretty anemic. I won´t track it like I did for Mario mainly because it´s very low and with school exam today and next days it just isn´t worth it but will track for F9 and big releases going forward to get some comps. Just from a quick glance it´s not improved nowhere as I had hoped. Pre-sales over the weekend look similar to Ant-Man 3 with tons of seats available even in the only IMAX screen in the country. Walkups would need to be good. OD projection: 9K admits OW 5-day: 40K
  7. Variety saying 130-140M OS debut. So with a 240M WW debut, it could get to 600M but the WOM needs to be strong.
  8. Wed release for MCU movies in U.K isn´t normal if I recall correct?
  9. It´s like giving a roll of a dice. No idea why, but very common in Norway to use that kind of scoresystem
  10. Norwegian reviews are very strong: VG: 5/6 (especially this one is noteworthy because said reviewer usually don´t like MCU movies) NRK: 4/6 Aftenposten: 5/6 Filmagasinet: 5/5 Kinomagasinet: 5/6 Some comps for MCU movies: Ant-Man 3: VG: 2/6 NRK: 3/6 Aftenposten: 3/6 Kinomagasinet: 4/6 Wakanda Forever: VG: 4/6 NRK: 4/6 Aftenposten: 5/6 Filmagasinet: 3/5 Kinomagasinet: 4/6 Vol 2: VG: 3/6 NRK: 4/6 Aftenposten: Postive review but score was behind paywall Filmagasinet: 5/6 Kinomagasinet: N/A
  11. Do you know if PS are better or worse than Quantumania? Or the same for that matter
  12. Have to say, amazing job you guys are doing! Really cool to see tracking to a pretty interesting market!
  13. So a lot of rumors/bs on this now. MyTimeToShine says Driver is all but se as Reed. Mescal was offered for Storm according to RPK. but declined according to schedule conflicts according to BSL. RPK also says Margot Robbie has the offer for Sue. MyTimeToShine says Margot is a big question mark which I assume is referring to whether she will take the role or not. Looks like Marvel want big actors for this one if all of this is true.
  14. It would need 275M domestic imo for 600M to be in play and even then OS is a wildcard. 275 is possible with 110M OW. Would need good WOM tho also provided it gets there ofc. 325M OS, but I´m leaning more 250M atm.
  15. It´s not encouraging, we will see what the projection from Deadline is tomorrow. They usually post Tuesday the week of release. It better be 225M+ worldwide opening or we have a big problem
  16. I wouldn´t be surprised if this is probably be 5-10% lower than it would have been if it wasn´t for the darker stuff that clearly has divided some, but then again maybe that´s me just coping. I just see so many positive comments about this. It seems so many are loving it. Letterboxd reviews are very strong and I mean from critics who have slaughtered stuff like Ant-Man, not just random fans. Metacritic is also solid. Really curious to see the audience reception because I feel like it could go both ways.
  17. 600M is prob out of the question. 500-550M seems more realistic based on pre-sales. This is could ofc change if audiences like the movie
