  1. Agreed. I also won't go into Transformers threads and trash it by saying the same things over and over again.
  2. Any thought out, concise analysis is not appreciated here. Please leave.
  3. Yeah, I don't understand why it took 14 years. It's not like it's a big budget for the studio either.
  4. Batman v Superman - $174.0M Zootopia - $23.6M MBFGW2 - $14.5M Allegiant - $13.0M Miracles from Heaven - $11.6M
  5. Eh, I wasn't that enamored with it. Sure, the writing (dialogue mainly) is sharp, acting top notch (Goggins in particular), beautiful cinematography and fantastic music but all it adds up to is a sludge of a film that I had a hard time sitting through. It didn't exactly bore me or anything but I did find myself checking the time left. This is easily my least favorite of QT's films and one I will never revisit. ***/*****, (C+, 5.8/10, 2.25/4) -- And that's being generous
  6. Who knows. Could've been bad timing. You can rehearse it as much as you like but one misstep can result in this kind of thing.
  7. Dylan O'Brien -- the star of the 'Maze Runner' movies -- was severely injured in an accident on the set of the new movie ... and has suffered multiple broken bones .... TMZ has learned. Sources on the set tell us the 24-year-old -- who plays Thomas in the hugely successful franchise -- was filming a scene for "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" involving a car ... when something went wrong and he was run over. We're told O'Brien was rushed to a hospital in British Columbia with "severe injuries" -- where he is currently undergoing treatment. A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox tells us production will shut down while Dylan recovers. Story developing .. 8. Is that a photo shoot for some kind of outdoor apparel brand? In all seriousness, good looking cast but I'm more interested to see how Banks will look.
  9. Might write up more later but all I can say is, "Now this is a movie worthy of Best Picture". I loved the heck out of this movie from the performances, direction, editing and writing which was brilliant. It made it easy to understand the complexities of the collapse yet not dumbing it down so much that it detracts from the drama (if that makes any sense). I enjoyed the first two acts which melded the comedy and drama before the third act hits you with a brick in its seriousness (might be just me, but the movie started off with comedy, then comedy/drama, then drama/comedy before finishing almost fully drama). I also enjoyed Steve Carell who was boisterous but never quite over-the-top, really nice, top-notch performance. *****/*****, (A+, 9.8/10, 4/4)
  10. I would like to hear (well, read) from that person at least to get their viewpoint but I suspect they're just being a troll.
  11. In that case it might be Gambit. Maybe New Mutants even. Who knows but that could be why Alien: Covenant moved.
  12. Might've moved as there's an untitled Fox/Marvel movie set for October 7, 2017 (rumor is it could be Gambit or Wolverine 3).
  13. Watched this the other day and found it compelling. It's a methodical movie taking the viewers through the steps of investigative journalism and the choices made to give the story more meat. The acting was fairly strong though I do agree with others, Ruffalo was a bit much but everyone else was great. ****/*****, (B+/A-, 8.2/10, 3.25/4)
