  1. I don't think you can just add someone to take over Colbert's show. Because of the way he based the show on his conservative character, you can't really just drop a new person in that role. As great as Stewart has been on the Daily Show, he can be replaced without changing the shows format. Comedy Central is going to have to create a brand new show once Colbert leaves.
  2. Has there been any announcement about this getting a second season? I know the ratings aren't great but I've enjoyed most of the episodes.
  3. Phil said he has great screen presence, which I take to mean his roles are enjoyable. The issue is does he "act" or just play himself. I'd say Dicaprio has been in a lot of very good movies, but I don't think he has exceptional range as an actor. And his accents are terrible/nonexistent. But is he still entertaining? Yes. And that's really what matters.
  4. I liked the last episode, but overall the 3rd season was kinda weak. After the first two great seasons the quality was bound to drop, but I'm still disappointed.
  5. Can't argue with Stand By Me, very deserving winner.
  6. I just binged through the first season. Really interesting premise and well executed. I can't wait for the second season to start in April.
  7. After every commercial all I could think of was how this just seemed like a Chuck clone. Except it seems like they took out all the comedy. Doesn't look very appealing to me.
  8. The entire cast of SPR was fantastic. Giovanni Ribisi is another guy I always forget about. And the guy from Lost, Jeremy Davies.
  9. This week's episode wasn't very good, the storyline just seemed to be trying to ride the success of Breaking Bad. I had high hopes for this, but I'm worried that it's not going to last.
  10. I really enjoyed the first three episodes, it will be a shame if this gets cancelled.
  11. I wish I had seen more Q and Y movies to fill out the list. I pained me to list The Quick and the Dead, but there was no way I was going to put Year One on a "best of" list.

  13. How is The Host a horror movie? And how did it get enough votes to finish in the top 10?
  14. He is clearly too busy posting in every other thread to finish this.
  15. It is a shame this game is dying. I haven't had time to play recently but this was always one of my favorite games on the forum. It's so easy to do, most of us make predictions for opening weekend anyway.
  16. I always thought Keifer Sutherland had a great voice. He was definitely the best part of Phonebooth.
  17. I'm surprised it included "It's a disaster" that seems way more indie than every other film on the list.
  18. Andy posts from Boston all the time.
  19. The end of Big Fish is so well done, and I would be worried about someone if they didn't cry a bit during those parts. The middle may be a little uneven, but it will always be one of my favorite movies because of those last few scenes.
  20. I'm glad someone else feels that way. For some reason, every time I hear "Una Palabra" at the end I start to tear up.
  21. Some of the love triangles got a little tedious near the end of last season, but I'm still looking forward to the start of season 2.
  22. I think he is worried they will get tougher on violence but keep their stance on sex and nudity.
  23. That's not a fair comparison. I agree the ratings are stupid and arbitrary, but the general point of them is supposed to be so parents can determine if they want their kids to see a particular movie. It's harder for parents to control internet, unless they look over their shoulders the entire time.
