I still don't understand why we never got that. Yes, the sequel dropped in North America, but made slightly more overseas than the original. It still was a big boxoffice hit.

As a Baker Street Irregular, I was not crazy about either film,( despite the modern setting, I liked the Benedict Cumbernatch's take on the charecter a lot better ..it is MUCH closer to the Conan Doyle original ) but is puzzling why they did not follow up with the thrid film., given how well the first two did.

Th0ugh Jeremy Britt reamains the best Holmes of them all.
