kitik
Finally read through this whole thread and realized that no movies apart from MoS are actually in release right now. excellent observation
Neo
I wouldn't call WWZ a horror movie but that's just me. It's definitely an action movie with horror elements and with good WOM should have decent legs. Action-Horror
kayumanggi
you just posted numbers showing that 2012 is bigger, so I'm a little confused That was for the whole year. I was talking about summer.
#ED
Well if this is more horror, then 60% drop is more than likely this weekend.

kitik
So 200M could be possible. anything is possible, but I sure wouldn't bet money on 200 for WWZ That said, perhaps WOM for the average movie-goer (ie. non horror fan) will be that it's a slightly scary movie that won't scare you to death so it's safe to watch. Which might possibly lead to good legs.

grim22
it is, but it is still part horror For as big of an audience that its pulling in, there will be a good number of people in there for which the horror part is too much. WWZ is as far away from horror as you can get. There are absolutely no jump scares, and every single thing happens off camera. I was hoping for at least ONE zombie death to be shown clearly. It isn't even clear that Pitt cut off the Israeli lady's hand based on the way it is shot.

MovieMan89
MOS had about the same Monday drop as last Monday. Let's hope it doesn't continue to follow last week's pattern or it will be down to about 2.5m by Thursday.
