290m+ actually. And Salt beat K&D domestic by over 40m. K&D had Diaz too. Pretty sure leading up to Summer 2010 everyone was blowing their load over K&D with 200m+ DOM predicts.

There was a Knight & Day over 200M club

She got Brokovich because she was a huge star thanks to her romantic comedies and she had premium on any script in Hollywood at that time.

Sure, and if she wasn't a draw, the film could have tanked.

Didn't Eat Pray Love did 200M WW a couple of years ago sold on her name alone? That is quite good.

Yep, and she wasn't even a draw anymore at that time.

Of course, I am not disputing Julia Roberts star status, hell, she was the biggest female movie star in the nineties and since nobody came close to her draw power, not even Jolie. Plus Jolie wouldn't be that big today if her boyfriend was not a guy called Brad Pitt.

But Roberts became BIG thaznks to that huuuge and contagious smile she had in her romantic comedies.

LOL that's not what you said before though. You're changing your words.  :P

Again,

Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Katherine Heigl, Anne Hathawy, they all had their 15 minutes of being the darling of america in a romantic comedy.

And I stand by it, Julia Roberts biggest hits in a lead role are romantic comedies save for Sleeping  with the Enemy and Brokovich.
