Nice  List Adam...Hey No Avatar I on it though! GRRRR

The first time I saw Avatar, I gave it 4/4 and thought it was one of my favorite films of 2009 ... since then my enjoyment gets less each time as the visual wonder of the film wears a little.  It's still a very enjoyable film, but probably more like 3/4 for me, so not enough to get in my top 100 Kal.

In terms of Cameron films, as you can see, it's behind the two Terminator films & Titanic for me.

Folks that think Forrest Gump being at the top of ones list ,along with Jurassic Park and Titanic etc should be exited out of the contest to me personally lol

of course, the correct opinion is that neither forrest gump, jurassic park nor titanic belong.

Here's the Judgement:

Posted Image

Walt: I gave up on you after Forrest Gump tied for first. Some good titles. Mostly mediocre.

Karl: Not a fan at all. I can see why you would put some films like Pulp Fiction and Beverly Hills Cop where they are, but I thoroughly disliked both movies. Overall, mixed. The Good: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The Bad: Pulp Fiction The Ugly: The Fountain

Mahnamahna: Too much disney and animated films. Other than that, surprisingly decent.

Spaghetti: Mised between Good and Bad. Monty Python, Shawshank Redemption, Spirited away, and Social Network are all awful picks for Top 10. Top 200 for some of the first two, and for the last two no where in any top list.

DAR: I like it. There are some choices I disagree with, cough, The Incredibles, cough. But overall best one yet. I love the Sunset Boulevard pick at #4 and Bonnie and Clyde.

Numbers: This one I really like. Carlos and Apollo 13 don't deserve to be top 10, but they're still great films.

Coolio: Batman, really? Next.

Lisa: Too much von trier. Love the lang though.

Baumer: We disagree a lot, and this is definitely one of those times

Olive: I'm seeing way too much recent

Hannah Montana: Oh god, where do I start?

Chasmmi: Life of Pi, Forrest Gump, Men in Black, Schindler's List, and etc. Spew

JohnnY: Your Rear Window #1 pick gave me so much hope. Shame the rest of the list didn't live up.

ThatMovieGuy: There's some decent picks. But overall, No.

Punishment: This is such a franchise, GA list.

JarJar: I really like this one. 8 1/2, 2001, Dictator, Passion of Joan, and 400 blows are all quite inspired picks

Tele: Nice.

Adam: Decent, I suppose.

If Rich would have liked my list, I would have quit the forums and checked myself into rehab.

I'm not going to resubmit my list this year, but a new entry into my top 15 for next year is Stand By Me.  It is in my top 100 but watching it recently I have realized it is a perfectly made film.  And I simply adore it.  I really hope it makes the list this year.
