Empire
Yeah, I've lost interest in following MU's BO run. Wish it could reach 271M. Same here. I have basically no desire to follow its run anymore. Really wish it would have done better.

Caladbolg
Just weeks ago, No one would know TC will be the biggest original opener of 2013 ... hilarious ... If it opens higher than Croods ($43m) The Heat ($39m) and maybe even Pacific RIm ($37m).
zackzack
So the CONJURING gets 17-18M on friday which would be about what?? close to 37M for the weekend if it's lucky??? WB spend $185M for PACRIM to achieve the same opening.....
Gopher
Yikes. Horrible Friday for the holdovers. Very good Friday for Conjuring (40m+ weekend, woo hoo!). Not so bad for RED 2. Turbo better have legs because this will be DWA's lowest opening in a decade. Less said about RIPD the better. Competition for screens and demos and attention is eating the marketplace alive this summer.

DAR
This summer kind of sucks. I'm not saying every movie was great but too many movies had their boxoffice hindered due to too much competition and rapid theater lossAnd 2015 could be even worse. Frozen will beat it on Thanksgiving weekend, I think. Still, pretty impressive for TC.
