PatrickvD
I know Frozen's big song is called 'Let it Go' and it will probably receive the Oscar push. Everything else is still..... something

Impact
I knew you would like that Coolio Okay in 1978-this should of won: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYt0dpeyAU8 BTW-on a serious note-Robin Hood should of won best song-but they nominated the wrong song. They nominated the song not sang by Roger Williams.

Leyla
One of this fall’s most anticipated movies, The Dallas Buyers Club, tells the true story of Texas native Ron Woodroof (Matthew McConaughey), whose 1986 HIV diagnosis, received in an era before treatment was readily available, spurred him to start his own prescription drug-smuggling ring. The album features brand new compositions by the likes of Tegan and Sara, My Morning Jacket, Fitz and the Tantrums, Neon Trees, Cold War Kids, and Leto’s own band Thirty Seconds to Mars. The album kicks off with Shuggie Otis’ stoned-soul anthem “Sweet Thang,” and also includes two classic T. Rex songs. http://music-mix.ew.com/2013/10/29/dallas-buyers-club-soundtrack/ Edited November 5, 2013 by Leyla

pieman
Let it Go is such a mediocre, borderline bad, song. There isn't anything memorable about it, I couldn't hum a bar of it. So I don't think that can win just because it's from a Disney movie (maybe in the 90s). I have no idea what could win though, maybe Young and Beautiful because it was used so much in TGG. I've yet to see a negative reaction to the song besides yours. Young and Beautiful is a great song, and one of the other oscar films should get a nod in here, but Frozen really does have a good chance here.
