How are they right? What is so wrong about asking (NOT forcing) a poster to employ some basic human decency and consideration? Why is trivialising rape the way that poster did considered something that needs defending now?

 

People here always wonder why this forum has so few female posters in comparison to male posters... this is why. :(

I'm so sorry about what's happened to you :(  Not every poster on here is so insensitive and I hope you stick around here because you're a really good poster yourself.

LOL well you got to wait until Monday when the actuals come out to see if it actually drops. If it does then you "called it". But if it doesn't then you didn't. But nothing has been proven yet. We'll see tomorrow. I actually think it's legit.

It is easier to get a bigger multiplier from lower weekend number. Better comparison is Unstoppable, which grossed another 40m after a 13m pre-thanksgiving weekend.

How exactly is the better comparison a non-sequel that fell 42% in its second weekend? I mean, look at Unstoppable's drops: 12% on Thanksgiving, and then 47% the weekend after. I can comfortably say there's little to no chance of that happening to Thor 2.

But I may have gone low on total. I predicted 350m, but since the movie isn't as frontloaded as I thought it would be, it should gross more.

Records are made to be broken. But I agree with @JohnMarston -- that number is too convienient, and think tha tthe actual number will hover in the 159-160 range.

Well, fantastic opening.  It will almost certainly fall more than 30% today as there are some massive snow storms through NA and there is an NFL game tonight and the Grey Cup is on, which to Americans means nothing but here in Canada, it usually gets about half the country watching it.  So imo, Sunday's drop will be about 33%.

Hopefully the west coast can come to the rescue for a third straight day, fingers crossed for a sub 30% drop.

After TDK, TDKR may lose (after actuals) the only record left for a Nolan's Batman :ph34r:

 

I am a huge fan of nolan movies and I dont feel bad at all in CF taking over the record. Records are meant to be broken and CF is a good movie.

 

 

I think this is cracking 162M with actuals. All these mega openers with good WOM generally go up.
