competition doesn't matter. Actually first off Frozen is competition. Parents can take their kids to see that instead of go see this, and secondly, a harsh second weekend drop is guaranteed simply because of natural frontloading. Even the first Hunger Games fell 62% second weekend despite little competition. Also, the post Thanksgiving weekend always has hard drops

Maybe that's a good thing, it shows that people were interested but were busy Friday in the day.  Saturday matinee business should be much stronger.

The arena scenes were awesome. And Lawrence's acting prowess is just amazing. That scene when 

She hit and yelled at Haymitch for not fulfilling his promise of keeping Peeta safe...her cracking voice...her tears...it felt so real. So talented.

 

And The Claf deserves praises too.

 

Argh, I really need to read those freakin books.
